170 runs and 14 wickets in the day today. Great value for your money if you were there today. I wasn't, I'm there tomorrow and looking at the forecast I may not see a ball bowled

Are they involved or not? Did they have to do what they did or forced to do so? Like the Man City fans who came onto the pitch last week. Did they come on because of a surge behind type thing? Just because someone does something doesn't mean they intended to do so. Identify them and ask the question. Thank you. Under whose perception? Is there an appeal procedure should an appeal be required?

That's because the Surrey lot thought they had a chance of a win... The T20 matches between the 2 were both sell-outs, over 50,000 across the 2 matches. Shame the CC is so poorly attended, but people have to work. I agree but county cricket died the day they started giving central contracts out in my opinion. No "stars" to see in action anymore, not like the old days, I used to love watching Bothams Somerset and Alan Knotts Kent sides, in fact most of the 1st class sides had notable international players back then. Yeah I agree, but it was forced in on us as we had gone the best part of 20 years without an ashes win and we ended up following the Australian model. We have gone too far with restricting players from counties though, it needs looking at.

Thing is though, if you don't evacuate and another bolt comes in and kills someone you are going to be slaughtered in the press. Having said that, there is a lot of cover at The Oval, so getting the spectators safe would have been straight forward. Dont know how many were in there, probably only a few hundred for a CC match. Over a 1000 in there for a "big" local derby against Middlesex... That's because the Surrey lot thought they had a chance of a win... The T20 matches between the 2 were both sell-outs, over 50,000 across the 2 matches. Shame the CC is so poorly attended, but people have to work.

I parked in a little industrial estate opposite the main entrance last season. Euphemism?

Nick Harris is going to be really confused that our new manager is playing at centre back He will think we have signed the Man United manager.

All the years of the media slagging off England Captains for being too safe on declarations, this could be time for them to eat their crow. Now, there have been ridiculous overkills on totals, but this one may bite those wizened chimps on the backside. Excellent use of 'eat their crow' - A forum first I'd guess

Exactly. When do we start bowling wide as possible to stop them scoring?

Can't believe what I am watching this evening, have the Windies just given up? They have a fantastic chance of a test win, but no urgency or intensity.

Out to a no ball. Not sure why that wasn't overturned.. I did think that when they were 'rocking' the image back and forwards a frame they hadn't got to where he actually landed but we're the frame before.

And that's the end of Westley surely? Stoneman way have something though. Stoneman has certainly looked a heck of a lot more solid than Jennings, Westley and Malan Well you jinxed that...

Didn't the Birmingham players claim our players took the p*ss after the win at ST Andrews so they were determined to teach us a lesson!! It was during the warm-up before the game at The Manor which we annoyed them. Our boys came out to warm up wearing yellow and blue Santa hats, something the club had just introduced in to the club shop, and they thought we were taking the p*ss and disrespecting them. It certainly fired them up!

Southend was my worst away day, horrid ground, delayed on the way there, 4-0 down at halftime, 6-1 at fulltime. Have never been back there.

There's at least half a dozen clubs bigger than Leeds... Celtic, Newcastle, West Ham, Tottenham are just a handful and are bigger. I don't think he's good enough for them but Leeds aren't as big as they now were. You'll say Portsmouth are big soon. I think he's easily good enough for the SPL...

That game... Dont think anyone who was there will ever forget it. Losing 7-1 at home... And to think we won 1-0 at their place about a month before as well. Had the pleasure of the 7-0 away at Sunderland as well Bloody hell, same season as well...
