I thought that Eales original statement was carefully worded to say it was a competitive budget without saying it was top six. It's then down to the manager and team to outperform . Correct. End of, really.

anyone clocked onto wolves signing Rueben neves from Porto, and thought what could have been for us with sartori and his links to European clubs? I see Wolves paid £15.8 Million for him. So no i don't think what might have been for us.

Bury can have a premier league budget .in comparison flashing the cash.don't mean they are going to win anything for example Agreed,but look at last seasons Champions. PL Chelsea, Championship Newcastle, League 1 Sheff United, League 2 Pompey. I would say that those teams had one of,if not the top budget in their division.

They've sold a couple of young pros for good money apparently and have also released a load of players as well. Although they do seem to be offering very good wages to those they've signed if reports are to be believed.

I think Bury will be spending beyond there FFP target and makes you wonder a couple of seasons ago they nearly went bust
