Really feel Roberts is out of his depth as a 17 year old in a lower league team. Haven't been impressed and think its time to send him back

Dunkley was positionally excellent and got a lot of important blocks in. I think he had a good game overall.

Mind you looking at that game an upset is very much on the cards so they might.

Mind you this sort of game and this sort of opposition is more likely to destroy his confidence than help him to learn.

embarrassing that watching in my local pub.I thought Johnson was one of our better players should have been upfront! Ledson and Rothwell didnt look too good.Bring back Crowley!! Makes you realise what Sercs brings to the table.Got to be a full strength team for the replay.

Dunkley was positionally excellent and got a lot of important blocks in. I think he had a good game overall. Total commitment is what you get from Dunks but there are a few too many heart in the mouth moments. He was one of our better performers in what was a massively below par performance tonight. 0-0 was a great result all things considered.

Dunks did well to compose himself I thought he was bound to get a second yellow in the first half

Well, we'll be in the hat on Monday - that's the most important thing.
If we draw Man U at the Kasstad, then I'm sure we'll see a full strength Oxford team in the replay. If we draw Huddersfield away......not so much.

What's the chances of even more tv money for the replay? Pretty good with them gagging for an upset I would think, especially if we draw one of the big boys as a reward They won't touch us with a barge pole.

Martin was fine tonight. Does his job quietly, no fuss and reads the game well.

Absolutely awful. The one thing it shows is that there's too much inexperience in the squad, and in January experience is the key with any signings. Crowley's big time Charlie attitude, Roberts failing to shine, Ledson's inconsistency is reflected in the fact that a lot of our youth are Oxford City bound, and don't cut the mustard.
Even back in Dorking in the summer, there was a hint of showboating from Roberts during the game with clearly no end product. The experience may bring the best out of players like Ledson and T.Roberts, our Oxford City Brigade though are on the way down a different road
Oh, can anyone enlighten me as to where Nelson was please, and are we that short of numbers as to have Cundy on the bench?

Haven't been impressed and think its time to send him back He came here to learn and the odd game now and again is part of that learning. Mind you this sort of game and this sort of opposition is more likely to destroy his confidence than help him to learn. We play our best when we press teams from the front - that's been proven in the last few games - Roberts just doesn't do that, and Hemmings is far better at that... As well as being a better overall player. Ledson and Rothwell looks a lightweight combination, and they, along with all of the back four could hardly find a yellow shirt with their passing in the first half. Maybe because of that we seemed to resort back to the aimless long punts upfield, as we did earlier in the season. The whole team seemed slow, just as if they thought they only had to turn up to win. So, not the best team selection, along with a lack of urgency in the play, and just plain bad technique, all contributed to quite an embarrassing display. Not good. I don't want to see that Rothwell/Ledson pairing again any time soon. Taylor made a difference but he's just too limited a player to take us anywhere. I'd source a similar player with better heading and goal scoring traits to replace him.

Agreed - We were appaling tonight and only shown because of how well we played against Swansea. The hype from the Swansea game has died down and so I can't seeing us being broadcasted again unless we get a really big tie

Sat watching it with my family and they now thinķ i am even dafter for spending my time watching us!
Couldn't pass, hoofball for long periods and extremely lucky to get a replay. Eastwood the only real positive.

For all the pelters he has received at times this season, it's clear that Lundstram is a big miss when he's not playing.

Result as expected with the team not reaching the flattering heights of the last few games. But we are in the hat for the 3rd round, extra income from the replay, maybe the display tonight might put off any suitors of Mapp. We need more bodies in the building January but with the so inconsistent displays it's hard to put a finger on where any money avail should be spent, it seems that the management are not getting the best out of what they have at the moment.

Well apart from the fact I missed first half because I was returning home from an abortive road trip to macc I thought the second half was a decent watch.
Rodwell and Ledson doesn't work. Roberts is far too callow. We looked miles better when Greg Rutherford came on.
Macc played well, plenty of pace and mobility.
MOM Dunks. Honourable mention to Martin and Eastwood.
Not great overall but we stuck at it.

Ledson has looked better with an experienced player next to him. Rothwell and he were lost lambs today and didn't get near taking a grip of the game

Weird, I thought the opposition was beatable with a team made up of ball boys and tea ladies. At least that's what I heard.
Very fortunate to still be in the hat. Macclesfield deserved to win that.

To be honest I don't think there will be many suitors for mapp after that performance he was unable to motivate the team today and sent the same team out for the second half that preformed so poorly in the first. Let's face it he is still very unproven especially at league one level. Hope it feels better in the morning but that performance apart from dunks and Eastwood we lacked bite and commitment. At the start of the second half it looked like we had 9 mercenaries playing for us caring nothing and expecting the opposition to roll over.
