Is this the seasons final defining moment.................. Or have we got enough in our "AWAY PERFORMANCE LOCKER" to overcome a fairly consistent team in Northampton Town............ Hard luck stories, missed chances, individual defensive errors and injuries are now out of the window, With games and time quickly running out we can not afford to look back, we have to take every game in its own merit. Head says 1 - 1, heart says we come away with a 3 - 1 away win. So I will go foooooooooor . Cobblers - 1 OXFORD UTD - 3 (Beano, Davies, Potter) ATT - 6379 (1411 YELLOWS) . The season lives on . Leaving Lincoln Central at 8.35am to arrive at Northampton train station at 12.20pm See you all there

We have a good away record, but they have won their last 5 at home, scoring 8 and conceding 1. I feel a demoralising 3-0 loss coming

Northampton have appealed to fans to clear the pitch. They must be confident.

Hopefully the health and safety gestapo won't call it off. The roads are fine so break out the orange ball and let's get on with it!

Well done, is better than well said.
So, so, so inconsistent. If we carve out half the chances we did against the Spirerites we should get an away win??? if not this could be an embarrassing away defeat. With the mighty Yellow army there today making a noise I just hope the lads perform. Good luck Oxford Utd. COYY.

I work with a few cobbler fans and despite there very impressive home record they keep saying they are rubbish. and the football is just hoofball. no pleasing some fans I guess lol. if and I know its a big if we can stand strong with no silly school boy errors at the back I believe we can nick this one. well heres hoping for 3 points. any one looking for a boozer theres 2 decent ones in duston village just 10 mins walk from sixfields

I hope Hackett will get a good reception from us. An Oxford fan who achieved the fans dream by playing for us. Hopefully he'll come home and play for us in the next season or two.

Well done to Northampton Town for getting the game on. Let's thank them by taking the points off them!
However, I think that's unlikely unfortunately. It's going to be very difficult for us today.

Yes, we're inconsistent.
But which team in this division isn't? Over the past 8 matches we're 3rd in the form table, just one place and one point below the Cobblers.
And over the entire season, we're ranked in 7th place in terms of away form. OK, it's too bad that the Cobblers are ranked second in home form. However, our chances of beating them today are surely better than the odds were on us beating the Gills at their place.
So let's think positive and virtually add our positive energy to those who'll actually be at the game and to the team.
COME ON YOU YELLOWSSSSSSSSSSS
