The greatest tv show ever made. Really, I've not watched it ever. Incest, a dwarf and some dragons. It's worth a watch.

There were no valid points about the standard of football played Mehmeti represented his country in their successful qualification for the European Championship, played for Malmö and Palermo (and was top scorer for Malmö) represented Sweden at U21 and has played Champions League football. He started 1 game for Palermo ! I cannot deny that he has played in the group stages of the Champions league,on the 25th of October 2015 he came on in the 88th minute against Shaktar Donetsk(they were winning 1-0 so it was probably to waste time) apart from that he was an unused sub or not in the squad. www.uefa.com/uefachampionsleague/season=2016/clubs/club=50152/matches/index.htmlHe has played in the Portugues 2nd division,2 league goals in 20 games. He played for a team who finished 14th in The Norwegian league last season missing out on relegation by 1 place,4 league goals in 23. He played in Serie B scoring 6 goals in 23. So since leaving Malmo in 2011 he has scored 16 goals in 6 years in a variety of lower leagues. Say what you like about the PL,but the Championship is the best 2nd tier in the world. No country in the world has a 3rd,4th and 5th tier anywhere near as good as ours. Full time pros in the 5th tier of football anywhere else in the world ? I bet there are no other countries with full time pros in the 3rd tier, never mind fifth. So to deny he hasn't been playing for lesser teams is just silly. Thats not to say he can't be an asset at Oxford,or a good player, its just a fact. P.S. When people go on about what players have won in their careers(somehow using it a benchmark),i always quote Jimi Traore who won a CL winners medal,Roy Keane and Paul Scholes didn't ! I'm sure Djimi Traore could have coped with L1 in his pomp.

Looks like he might need to come onto the bench fairly sharpish now Obika seems to have picked up an injury.

Looks like he might need to come onto the bench fairly sharpish now Obika seems to have picked up an injury. Not injured apparently just feeling a little tightness. But agree Thomas doesn't hold it up quite as well, thought obika was immense today, and was a great finish as well, which I thought was onside when the ball was played

Sat almost dead inline with it and he looked offside. As did GVK when he stopped and looked at the linesman before carrying on

My neighbour knows Ulrika Jonssons uncle when he used to live in Sweden. His Milkman knows a guy who went to the same school as Bjorn Borg and deliverd milk for a chap that installed Saunas in a house that one of the Wallander episodes was filmed in. he saw Krister Henriksson on set and offered him a yogurt, strawberry flavoured which is also apparently Agon,s favourite, The cameraman’s young son Lars played for Malmo and he told his Dad who told Krister, who told The Milkman who went to the same school as Bjorn, Who told Ulrika Jonssons uncle, who told my neighbour, who told me, that Mehmeti likes Strawberry yogurt and is crap.

We signed Argon on 7 September, nearly three weeks ago. In the article on the day of his signing it says he had a pre-season in Sweden, so would be a couple of weeks away from playing.
With Obika and Thomas being injured (or possibly unwilling to play through minor niggles) surely he now has to play. Why he wasn't on the bench on Saturday is a mystery to me, as I'd have thought after being with us nearly three weeks he'd have at least been fit enough for the bench, particularly with the fragile nature of our existing strikers.
Just how unfit was this guy when he joined?

it was made pretty clear he was nowhere near ready and it might take him a month or two to get up to speed when he first arrived, but I'm guessing he will be getting a lot of fitness training now, to fast track him into the team, especially given that weve got both Obika and Thomas playing Nintendo all day - he must be hating those two!

16 Goals in 5 years that's 3.2 a season ....just what we need...
Dang get carton Cole in and make it up to 4.2

It's clearly a risk recruiting from abroad, an undoubtedly the chance of getting a player that fits into the "English game" is lower. The interesting thing would be how much less are we paying these players compared to an equivalent already proving themselves in the UK? Are we potentially getting 2 overseas players for the price of 1 UK?

The only player I can think of who comes from a country where frost/cold weather would be a rare occurrence is Xemi (and he's hardly played), so I'm not sure who else you're referring to?

Anyone to whom it may have been applicable, ok, so I didn't delve into the squad profiles and twas a sweeping comment. Btw, I'd have thought that there's a percentage of players born into cold climates, yet still hate the snow, fog and frost!!
