Too much negativity here and in the stands at half time. We were professional and limited them to 1 shot all first half. I have criticised Mapp all season for not having a plan b for these more physical sides. Second half we did the job. If we had played like this against Southend, Bristol rovers or Wimbledon we would be much further in a playoff fight then we are.
I also think some fans are also more hating of Swindon over our chances of promotion. Bradford were catchable with our games in hand and their confidence knock at dropping points to the pig fiddlers. So i was very disappointed to see Swindon loose today. Play offs still an outside chance especially if we pick up six points next week.

A last minute winner & Paul from Sussex fails to make it onto RadOx phone-in, what's not to like? Exactly what I thought, he should be more consistent and comment on the phone when we win as well, oh wait, sorry he does. Oh and I am not him. He's from West Sussex, me I'm not. With the rumours of a kassam takeover, and this conspiracy theorists like you must be having a field day. Sad really.

I get what your saying about the Scum result but we can't affect it so it's an aside if they lose to whoever! As was the result midweek when we lost to Oldham! I also get what your saying about our game but I think they were there for the taking today and we could have won at a canter with a bit of pace!

What a dire first half. Showed nothing. Best players on bench. I want my money back. Not travelling 180 mile round trip for another reserve game. First time I've thought - what on earth are you doing MAPP? Off to another club apparently, club sold to Kassam, done deal. Only just spotted this. Can you tell us more, Sussox? 'Done deal' sounds pretty conclusive. Where did this come from?

How many points have we won with goals in the last 5 minutes of home games? Must be a fair few Answering my own question: 10 points Scunthorpe: 2 points (Nelson 90'+1, 2-1) MK: 2 points (Hemmings 88', 1-0) Bradford: 2 Points (Maguire (pen) 90'+1, 1-0) Rochdale: 2 points (Sercombe 88', 1-0) Peterborough: 2 points (Maguire (pen) 90'+3, 2-1) Assuming we hadn't got those goals, along with those points, and had 5 fewer GD as well, that would put us 16th. Make of that what you will.

Abysmal team selection. Why would you play a checkatrade side against a team in the play offs. Also true to form we are dire, looking like we have never played together. Why would you change a team that destroyed Peterborough last week? Embarrassing ATM. A last minute winner & Paul from Sussex fails to make it onto RadOx phone-in, what's not to like? It's the "Inverness I know everything" who ought to be banned from ROx

Any thoughts on the ref? Thought he was shocking. What was with all the talking to the players all the time? There comes a time where you need to get your card out of players are repeatedly offending. The challenge on Skarz near the touchline on the north stand side was appealing yet he just chats to the player.
Toney was fouling Dunkley and Nelson as soon as he came fro. Every high ball. And their number 8 was always in the refs ear and trying to manipulate him by putting his hands all over him.
Why wasn't their assistant manager sent off? Was being very aggressive and abusive to the 4th official, yet for away with only a word.

What a win! Simon was not kept too busy. The defence was fairly solid winning most balls from the dead balls. Impressed with the amount of switching play that was used today. Gave skarz and Marvin when he came on lots of opportunitys. Also HIGHLY impressed with mcaleny. His darts into the box and ability to beat 3 or 4 men is a vital for oufc in these last games of the season. We will miss him

Said before the game he has given 170 something yellows and 9 reds this season.

I think we just neutralised them by packing the centre of midfield and trusting Nelson and Chey to win the long balls. Yes we could switch play better but I think their poor performance was because of our shape rothwell and ruffels hard work and Appleton doing his homework on the opposition. A table topping physical side at home i was apprehensive at best but we got three points playing a very Wilder like strategy and some games you have to win that way.

Great result tactics from Mapp were spot on in countering their diamond. And we got away with resting a few although I wish he would of done that more in the checkatrade. Awful game to watch but about time we did a number on one of those sides and beat them at their own game. Am I missing something with Rothwell bacause I thought he was poor again + dont rate him at all.

Cant remember moaning. At half time I gave what is called an opinion, my opinion, as most saw it, as you would have if you were there, to which I am entitled. I loved the turn around.
The last minute winner made me as happy as the goals at I saw at Chesterfield, Bolton, Oldham, Peterborough, Scunthorpe, Carlisle and so on....
I couldn't give a rats arse what you thought of my comment, so don't waste your valuable forum police time....
Nice heads up for the games you've been to sussox. Must be nice to know you are the only one going to away games! Something seems to be lost in translation, my south Oxonian old mucca!
New Job?

Having seen the highlights, that is Nelson's goal for me.
Not sure why their manager is asking for a penalty. There was accidental contact, but the CB fell over(like they did a lot) and made it look like a dive. There was more contact on Martinez all game, but little was deemed a foul.

Credit to the team to show the character and resolve to come from behind. Bring on Bolton!
