Thank god for that final whistle Now for a top 5 club in round 4......................... but we'll get Daggers away :-( Would love a non-League team in the next round. Probably be on TV, decent chance of progressing and the likelihood of getting into the fifth round and a massive club would only increase further.

Not done one of these before, so beginners luck? 2-0 to the U's, Maguire and Taylor the scorers. Looks like you get another go to prove it wasn't beginners luck!

Hemmings misses a sitter. Damn but bloody damn. Wouldn't call it a sitter - stretching and sliding to reach a cross at pace, didn't quite get enough connection to squeeze it in at the far post. We should have scored, but the cross could have been better timed.

We should have scored, but the cross could have been better timed. Exactly how I saw it. Hemmings did his very best to put it in, but the pace was just a bit much. Who cares though! Great day out, fantastic game right to the end. Boy, we have some great players this term! And a word for Rotherham: courteous stewards, fabulous ground (can we have one just like it please?) and the fans I met were fair and decent.

There was some shocking marking for our 2nd goal! Superb 3rd goal and Ryan Taylor took his chance well.

There was some shocking marking for our 2nd goal! Well we had done about 10 short corners in a row before that, I guess the Rotherham defence just weren't waiting for a cross...

Am I the only one when Jerome and Nathan were talking about being right all the time in arguments, and then Jerome said 'I'm wrong all the time at home' imagined them living together in some kind of bromance situation?! Totally. The Morecambe and Wise of Oxford-based commentators.

Great feet by Taylor to win the pen. And last week with the way he spun the bloke to win the foul that reduced Gills to 10 men, I think both go to show he's got good technical ability. Delighted that he scored today to ease some of the pressure on him.
Bit concerned that Nelson is making a few mistakes though, at Bury he missed a header which led to a goal, and today with both of their goals he didn't exactly cover himself in glory.

Agree about Nelson, got pushed off ball too easily for their first and made a half hearted attempt to stop the cross for their second.

I think he was afraid to bring the player down for the first goal. The whole situation was caused by Johnson's poor clearance. Agree that he didn't do enough to stop the cross for their second, but then again the whole team had pretty much shut off.

Just let the listeners hear the fans go bloody mental.

Who cares about negative comments Johnson this Hemmings that Nelson this it don't matter now we're in the hat for the 4th round draw and the club can analyse the mistakes Monday and try and correct them before Tuesday and I did think Nelson won a fair few headers in 50/50 challenges.

Very good win today. Thoroughly deserved. Thought we were the better team in the first half, and unlucky to only be one up.
They obviously received a bit of a rollocking at half time and looked very dangerous for the first twenty minutes of the second half, and we did well to keep them to one goal.
I wouldn't say Edwards' goal was against the run of play, but at the same time I wouldn't have said it was coming. The goal itself was odd. He was so open that I thought the ref must have given a foul or something initially. Thankfully it was just Rotherham's poor defending and a good ball in!
The third was a beautiful goal. Great ball out wide by Lunny. Whipped in by Johnson. Stuck away by Hemmings. Perfection.
We went to sleep after the goal and made it nervier than it needed to be. Thankfully we managed to hang on, and nearly score another. Some are saying Henmings missed it. I think Johnson's ball was hit far too hard. Either way it should have been four. Luckily it didn't matter.
Man of the match is quite hard to choose. It was a good team performance without any spectacular individual performances. If pushed, I'd give it to Ledson. He broke up the play well and was tidy in possession. Johnson was dangerous going forward but looked a bit of a liability at the back. Edwards also had a very good game. Maguire seemed a bit off of it today. Perhaps he was trying too hard.
Anyway, on to the fourth round! I'd like a top team away please. Chelsea or Liverpool would do nicely.

I hate to say it but I would give motm today to Chey Dunkley or Simon Eastwood What were you watching? Edwards easily MOTM. Great day out. Rotherham were rubbish but you can only beat what's in front of you. Loved every minute. Great see Mr Eales in the pub before the game!
