Can someone please explain what happened? Basically Stevenage of old, disgrace of a bench constantly in the ear of the 4th, up screaming and shouting at every decision, players time wasting, diving over, cheating, constantly in the refs ear, gk shoving a ball boy and gesturing at fans along with their defender. Just a horrible niggley team that try everything except actually playing football to win a game

Why did Ripley come out for the second half gobbing off? When he had the shocking game for us on loan he got nothing but support from the East Stand. Hopefully the jumped up t**t gets reported for his w**nker sign along with the other idiot, and they both get done for inciting crowd trouble.
What a horrible team, such a far cry from that great team they had in the 90's.

What a horrible team, such a far cry from that great team they had in the 90's. Probably has an inflated sense of ego given that his old man had a relatively successful career. Penny might drop at some point that he's goalkeeper for, erm, Oldham. Perhaps he also had bad memories of letting a freekick go straight through him in his 'performance' for us.

Denis Smith doing the 50/50 draw people around me saying what a great manager he was I unfortunately can remember him playing for Stoke against us a few times

And since he was dropped! I still Rothwell offers more. Since who was dropped, Lunny or Ledson? If Lunny, then our central midfield has looked poor when he hasn't played imo. If Ledson, I don't think Rothwell is particularly effective as a defensive midfielder. I was referring to Lunny's improvement relating to him recently being dropped. Re Rothwell, I actually think he offers the team more than Ledson, but can understand that when he plays it appears to give Lunny more freedom to get forward etc.

That second half was an event wasn't it? Who needs soap operas? Dunkley played like he'd been on an all night drinking session. Oldham were disgraceful. No wonder MA went all Incredible Hulk. We have a good team. COYY. I've always said that Dunkley is shite with the ball at his feet. I'd much prefer Raglan or Martin.

He tried to 'play' out of defence and on a wet pitch he lost control and gave away a needless free kick in a dangerous position. It's happened before and he's not good enough to do it!! Very good in the air but generally overrated. I think Raglan was really hard done by and didn't deserve to be dropped. But, he's not our player and will almost certainly go back to Chesterfield. Martin will now be ahead of him in the pecking order.

I don't want to slate Dunks too much, but I thought he had an absolute mare on Saturday. The goal was ridiculous, no danger at all, run the ball out of defence, takes a heavy touch then lunges in to retrieve the situation. Could have been a red card. Also thought Robbie Hall would see red for his reaction later on. Overall though I thought we played very well, just that final third 'issue' once more. Hemmings barely touched the ball all game, but is that his fault? Not sure how many crosses into the box we saw, not many - more Maguire and Johnson cutting in and shooting. We're getting there though - defo think we need a new striker in the January sales however, not saying instead of Hemmings but with Thomas out for the season we are defo light up there.

I just watched the highlights and our decision in the final third was frustrating. I guess the players had instructions to shoot from range in the hope that the keeper would spill the slippy ball but I think we overdid it. Maguire, but not only him, should have passed a few more times instead of shooting from unfavourable angles. Shot locations for the 21 attempts we had on saturday...

The one Johnson blazed over the bar as well, simple lay off and we had two players on the pen spot to just slot it home

Dunkley's error was purely down to a right footed player playing left sided centre back. Instead of moving wider away from the centre and using his left foot he saw some space and felt far more comfortable moving forward onto his right foot. His touch was poor and the rest is history.

I hate Oldham now, along with Swindon, Reading, Northampton, Sheffield Utd, Leyton Orient, MK Dons, and Matty Taylor. Will never hate Wycombe- Too small.
