I still think you're over-selling the importance of this site!! If there was a direct link to Wiki, you would be struggling for work, OxBible would be journalist of the year and Jack Midson would be keeping Neymar and Messi out of the Barca squad!!!! I see Neymar has moved from Barcelona for some training tops and a bag off footballs, it's all starting to come true.

Question to ESB....when you first started yellows forum did you ever think it would become so big that multi millionaires had to hire their own PR guru to defend them on this world wide, biggest football forum that has ever been created? If JS is that worried about a few comments on this forum then I am glad for his sake the purchase of the club didn't go through because the poor little lamb would be crying into his glass of port on his massive yaht every night with comments questioning him. Could easily change js to de and that post still applies. Although I'm not such zach can be described as a guru 😉

I really, really hope that your not DE! Me too! I'd look a right dick after my comment to 'zach'!!!! Any mention of 'dick' in relation to posts by Zach should have all north standers extremely worried!

This is so hilarious it's beyond belief. Why not come along to the fans forum and ask the Chairman the direct question that seems to bother some of you. The club is building for a serious attempt to gain promotion this season and the Chairman has given answers to written questions , but still some of you continue to question his motives, unbelievable. Yay!! Zach's back. Now where are njones and old then?? And come back Tony Rosser, all is forgiven (NOT). Not knowing these people I wouldn't know what they are like. Can you do a comparison to Sussox, rucnor and 1oufc please

We can't complain about the playing budget. So we now move on to an alleged meeting with an OUFC official at a club where the chair has actual evidence of his crookedness to tar Daryl with. The fact we've loaned them a player hence a meeting isn't important or a more likely reason for the meeting. Maybe the journalist read the two forums and twisted it in to something but gave themselves another wriggle room by using the word, allegedly?
I guess some people are only happy if they can spread metaphorical bull**** around about others and keep whispering about what they hear about from other people to justify it.

Just had a look at the Non-League paper and that line about the alledged meeting is the only mention of OUFC in the article.

Am I missing something here? What is Eales supposed to have done this time?
"The NLP understands FA chiefs interviewed Turl on Friday about his Owners and Directors Declaration as well as the nature of a recent meeting he allegedly attended with at least one representative of Oxford United"
Is there anyone that can at least explain what the latest Eales scandal is before I start work on my big wicker Olly the Ox?

To be honest I haven't seen many rumours disproven, no keys staff appointment as yet (in fact another has just left) Budget who knows , I doubt we're currently higher than last season, let alone by 20%. Private life (not really relevant) but not disproven And the sale of the club, I think enough has been said by Stewart and charlie to confirm de was offering the club to people, the rest seems to be stuck between differences in what happened between the two parties. Then u have rumours of Solihull take over that were heavily dismissed a few weeks ago as rubbish then now this. Still really positive for the season and more than happy for Darryl to be the one to lead us up again, but I wouldn't say it's all rosy by any means

Who cares? Just call him slippery Eels and make snide comments, that seems to be the way of it on here for some at moment. Those same people could of course go and ask questions at the fans forum if they have genuine concerns, but for some i suspect that may be an effort to far.

But private life? Not sure many supporters can give two hoots (OK maybe some of the Daily Mail/ Sun readers). Like Scotters I am at a loss to see what this Solihull 'story' means for OUFC or DE. If something comes out following it then OK, but at the moment it is a comment from a source (that I don't know how reliable they are) and it really says not a lot anyway? Unless I am missing something or others know more that is stated in the article?

More that I find it interesting as there were rumours of it a few weeks ago, it has been semi confirmed that Darryl was trying to sell or at least offering the club ,And now this. More interesting than anything, could mean talks have continued behind the scenes with the sale maybe.

So you don't believe there is anything in this, but still enough to cast doubt? We've had a summer of rumours and innuendos about DE and yet here we are with an arguably stronger squad, excellent potential from the manager, money in the bank and 3 points away at Oldham for the first time in God knows how long. I know it's very early days but the positives Shirley outweigh the tittle tattle that has plagued this forum for months?

I know it's very early days but the positives Shirley outweigh the tittle tattle that has plagued this forum for months? They do, and I have said so many times I feel very positive about this season. You as usual just decide to pick on a point and try and make an argument out of it. I didn't say I don't think there is anything in it. I said I don't think there is anything dodgy in it, which is what the story in the paper is about. I do think that things may still be going on behind the scenes that would involve the sale of oufc and the purchase of Solihull. This being just another hint at it. Could also all be complete coincidence. Not tittle tattle, just my view about what's going on at oufc, on an oufc forum.

Great come back. We will see, very doubtful a meeting took place over the loan agreement for kelleher. So there is something there. But doubtful what the papers are trying to suggest that it's anything dodgy. Anyway off to the match, I take it u will both be there showing ur financial support to the chairman 😉

OUFC Yellows, I have to say that for someone who claims to be so positive you do seem to enjoy jumping on any rumour that may make out Eales is doing something fishy (pun intended).
Not just you but there seem to be a small number of fans that are happier gossiping than actually getting behind what the club is trying to do.
