TWENTY ONE Defeats on the trot Even with Apleton in charge we'll not manage that ☺️ How many games till they are mathematically down? London Welsh would probably do no worse if Appleton was coaching them!

Just had an e-mail saying that for every ticket I buy for LW v Sale on 15th Feb, Bicester U13's will get £5 cashback!
My missus said 'are you gonna take Zak'
I said 'No , I'd rather just donate the £10 straight to Bicester'
I cannot bring myself to pay to go watch LW

"Come friendly bombs, and fall on Bicester; obliterate B Ox's sister. Then rain down on that shitty village and end th'egregious tourists pillage."
I don't know B Ox's sister, btw. Not much rhymes with Bicester. Lucky it's not called Futtler, tho.

The thread should read: London Welsh are staying "bottom" for the next three years!
Never to return...

The people of Oxfordshire, London and the nation of Wales gently weep. I'm laughing so much it hurts. A team that wants to be part of the Oxfordshire community.... Yeah right. They're here cuz they need a ground. p*ss off back to the smoke or better still back across the border.

Is it viable for them to play at the Kassam with less than 1000 fans in the Championship?

Less than 1000 in the lower division.............and still churning up the pitch.............yeah right.

Its only viable for 3 or 4 professional rugby clubs to play anywhere, it all depends upon how deep the backers pockets are.
As for the pitch, once again the ground staff had to be "asked" not to water the pitch immediately before Sundays match.

Is it viable for them to play at the Kassam with less than 1000 fans in the Championship? Probably more viable than breaking a three year deal with FK..........

I went past the stadium yesterday just after the 2nd half started and had a peek through the gates unless there were plenty of the prawn sandwich brigade I would've guessed 1500

I'd be interested to know, off the record, if LW regret moving into Oxfordshire and away from their home turf.

I'd be interested to know, off the record, if LW regret moving into Oxfordshire and away from their home turf. I can't recall but chappers might be able to confirm, if a reasonable amount of Welsh's fans continue to support the 'stiffs' and the youth system and sides at Old Deer Park. The problem is, relegation or not, they can't keep moving from one home to another. As a result, I think they will be here next season in the Championship. They have done some great work in the community with schools and rugby clubs mind.

For all the community work, they've gone nowhere on the pitch and don't look like going anywhere soon. Attendances are poor and don't look like improving any time soon. They'll be here next season, but I was wondering if with honest hindsight, was it really worth it?
