And even if they lose all the games I'm sure Chappers said they'll be here next season. Makes no odds to Oufc.

I wouldn't mind setting up a phoenix club. It would be a big thing in my football career.

I actually sat and watched LW today, well it was more like a farce, they really are crap, and I love it. 2 matches in 1 day for me, have to be careful this egg chasing don't take over, watched my lads U13 team draw 22-22 today and go out of the cup because the rules say if scores are level, tries level and conversions level the AWAY team goes through, I'll never see a penalty shoot out as 'the worst way to lose' ever again after that

And even if they lose all the games I'm sure Chappers said they'll be here next season. Makes no odds to Oufc. But it does make a difference if they disappear out of the Premier League (or whatever it's called) and don't return. Because then it would not be viable, or necessary, for them to purchase the stadium with those greatly reduced revenues and meagre attendances. The only reason they're here is because they made it to the top division and couldn't stay where they were. That, in turn, means there is only one show in town, so any negotiations with kassam become loaded more in our favour. So I hope they get dicked every week, go down, and don't come back. Then they may leave Oxford, and take their smug, condescending fans with them.

Aye, it'll be a grand day when Windrush Tower is bedizened with mustard and red corduroy trousers as they fuck off back to Richmond.

For all the talk of good match day experience, LW are awful and look be heading down before 2014 has ended.
Fair to say moving to Oxford is turning into a nightmare.

It looks like they'll concede 1000 points this season in 22games. Impressive

If I was at London Welsh you'd be seriously looking at Adams Park. Closer to home and rugby friendly.

But a very similar situation, Wasps are being stung there(excuse the pun), that's why they wanted to move. However Wasps leaving is going to probably have significant financial impact on WW and they may be willing to recoup some of that money by accepting a lower deal than Wasps are currently paying.

Thank you Ricky. For the last year or so both chairman of ou and lw regularly met to work together for the benifit of both clubs. The new ou owners have turned their backs and think they can do better by themselves.yet another error. How can you say it's an error? LW have had to move out of London, was that not an error? If the new owners have turned their backs on LW, there might just be a very valid reason. Given that LW have the mighty sum of 1 (bonus) point, I think it unlikely they will be able to fund another year at Grenoble Road if (when) they drop out of the premiership.

As LW have signed an agreement to play at The Kassam for three years, I can't see OGB letting them off the rent just because they get relegated.
Next year they will be back in the Championship, then use the parachute payment to come back up and take it from there.......

indeed. LW negotiated a rent that was sustainable in either division. After all there was no guarantee of promotion this year.

2200 for a game against the excellently supported Leicester who are just up the road. That's seriously poor. They'd be better off looking to brentford and their new stadium. m.bbc.co.uk/sport/rugby-union/30118071Seems like a 20 point defeat is now solace.
