The New Manor is already in use at Ilkeston.
Me, I still like The Isis Stadium but The Mini Isis Stadium or The Virgin Isis Stadium would be more than acceptable

I would accept almost anything (within reason) but I feel quite strongly that it shouldn't be the new Manor
Isis, Priory park, Grenoble Rd, Blackbird, BMW even Minchery farm just please don't drag the Manor into it. The manor was the manor, this is a new era.

I agree that it should not be called the Manor or the New Manor.
But I also think that we should respect the club's past/history when renaming the ground.
I suggest Headington Ground or Headington Park.
Future generations of fans will have a permanent reminder of the club's humble beginning and roots. The history of the club will be marked in stone.

I really don't like the idea of naming it after something related to the old stadium. Its a new beginning and should have a new name. I'm not aware of any other club naming their new stadium the "new old stadium" and theres a reason for that...Calling it the Headington ground when its nowhere near Headington is ridiculous! We can respect the clubs history without living in the past. Thank God it will be a sponsor name and we won't have a say in it....

I quite like 'Priory Park'.
What about 'The Spires Stadium'? - The spires for short.

Would this be too radical...................
'The place where it matters'
Imagine if they called it that, when doing a match report!

I can see a clever sponsorship move by a coffee maker........'Maxwell House'?
The 'I can't believe it's not butter' stadium is better than the ghastly 'Kasstad'

Headington Manor Ground has a certain ring to it. WE need to keep some of our old heritage and that is one way to do it. As for Swindon Swinedump Sewage Stadium sounds superb

here you are................The Canine Scrotum Stadium! (The team that play here is the dog's b*llocks!)
er, where I live, in plastic cockney Amersham, the 'dog's b*llocks' means 'good'.

Has to be "Grenoble Road" or "The New Manor". Both sound the best out of all mentioned.

I didn't think that you knew words like that abbreviation in Amersham. Perhaps the radioactivity has changed things since I was last there.

(which seems to have become just The Den nowadays). I agree that a new start/new name are needed. Quite like some of the Isis/Priory type ideas but suspect that sponsorship will prevail in the end.

Quite like some of the Isis/Priory type ideas but suspect that sponsorship will prevail in the end. But thats a bit different because the New Den is very close to the old Den. The name is still valid for the new stadium If our new stadium had been built just along the road from the old one, the new Manor would be ok When you move to a completely new area, it seems ridiculous to name it the new manor when the manor part was very much due to the location in Headington.

Ok, not a name referring to the old Manor Ground. Would 'The Manna From Heaven Stadium' be accepted?

Has to be "Grenoble Road" or "The New Manor". Both sound the best out of all mentioned. I totally agree....i still refer to "going up the Manor"when telling someone where i'm going why should i change that just cos we've moved?? Headington Manor Ground is just RIDICULOUS for obvious reasons I'll say it again.....The New Manor is my favourite, cant understand why people want to start afresh....It's OUFC thru and thru

D'ya know what...........I just hope and pray that when (or bluddy if!) we get new owners of the club, they don't name the stadium after themselves, or their company. Just give it a fan-friendly name. No chance, eh?

I quite fancy getting involved with the branson empire, build the fourth end and call it the virgin stand (away end haha), give us loads of dosh and bulid a proper club like we use to have (London road club), and call the stadium THE OXFORD MANOR.
