I quite fancy getting involved with the branson empire, build the fourth end and call it the virgin stand (away end haha), give us loads of dosh and bulid a proper club like we use to have (London road club), and call the stadium THE OXFORD MANOR. I think the Virgin Stadium has a lot of merit. The press would love it ('no one's yet scored at the Virgin'). And as fans we can regularly say 'I'm in the Virgin' or 'Im goin up the Virgin this evening' etc etc.

From a local perspective id say grenoble road or the isis stadium. from the money generating point of view, the BMW stadium would be a good move if they wanted to come on board.

I think I've got it.
In most grounds, there's usually a stand named after a famous ex-player, or in recognition of some other past hero. One player stands out in my mind; he had a football-genious mind, he was a total hero, worshipped by us for many seasons. His goal-scoring record is unmatched by today's so-called heroes. He played many times for the U's (in the 60's and 70's). He would be worth MILLIONS, in today's money.
So................I give you.............................The John Shuker Memorial Stadium!

I like Grenoble Road. Nice and simple. None of this "People's Stadium" bollocks.

Nice and simple...but also a bit boring!
Still, its better than the New Manor. But then almost anything would be...
How about Stadiwm Cymru?

I don't blame anyone if they say that this subject has been going for quite a while and is going stale. But I just HATE going by the stadium and seeing the words 'Ka-Ka-Ka Stadium' (sorry, but you-know-who) Sticking out from the building. Can't we have an un-official name, to get on with?

Some good suggestions in the list but I still feel Isis Stadium is the best. Or if the cash comes with it, the BMW Isis Stadium.

The New Manor.... has to be! The problem, as pointed out by others, is that London Welsh would be co-owners! But I'm sure they wouldn't mind.

Because of the Welsh connection, we should call our home the llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwyll-llantysiliogogoch Stadium. Well, it rolls off the tongue, doesn't it! (Like phlegm)

(Like phlegm) Only problem with that Dave, is all the road signs would need their own planning permission, and the actual ground sign would be the length of the South Stand!!! ;D
