Second Swede to join us. First being Pal Lundin. Then again, an actual swede painted yellow may well have been more use than Steve Anthrobus at times. Ricardinho is Swedish.

Looks a good find. Remember Appleton did an Oxford Mail article earlier in May citing he/the recruitment department were now scouring Scandanavia instead of Scotland......and Pep confirmed the Recruitment Dept came to him with Ricardinhio. This lad also worked with Pep. So wonder if any of these strikers fancy a trip to the UK instead of some of the obscure places in Europe they currently find themselves.... en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2010_Malm%C3%B6_FF_season

Wonder if this came from the recruitment team or Pep? Didn't Pep bring Pontus Jansson to Leeds? Hopefully this guy has the same impact for us! (If he signs)

Unsure about this one. This fella sounds like a defensive midfielder but I doubt he's coming here to be Ledson's back up. Would be indicative of the way English football is if a young English talent were to be replaced by a foreign import in league one. Of course, as a full international he could be so much better than Ledson in which case I'm all for it!
Could it perhaps be Pep wants to play 4-2-3-1 with Ledson and Ivo as the 2 holding players?

For tough away matches that could be good. Ledson is unlikely to play 50 odd games for us. Promotion teams need quality back up

Yeah Carrol I guess... but with hall, Henry, Payne, marvel and rothwell for the three places behind the striker, I reckon this new chap completes our strength for the 2 spots behind them.
This is a very very strong squad that pep is assembling... majority of last years star performers are still here and even more experienced. Plus this array of international quality.
I'm starting to smell promotion 😜

OMGZ, does that mean Ledson is off now? Haven't seen any mis-spellings of his name, so we're good for now.

As much as ruffs has improved! I still don't think he's the long term answer, I'm not for replacing a player in form but this guy has played for Sweden for Christ sake haha! I reckon he will be up to the job. We shall see

Without wishing to dampen all the enthusiasm I would point out that several of our players have not played a full season (say 30 + matches) for a while and are either recovering from injury or have been labelled "injury prone". If the likes of Ribeiro, Tiendali, Thomas, Obika, Williamson, Martin etc are still fit and competing for places come November / December and key players such as Eastwood, Nelson, Ledson, Johnson, Hall and Ruffels (he is certainly key on current form) are also being managed carefully then we should be looking to improve on last years position.

I'm sorry but proof is in the pudding. Yea ruffs has improved but I think when you are looking to make the next step and get promoted then you need to make the next step. Ruffs is handy to have around and has improved massively! I don't think he will drop him straight away and I don't agree he should but think you will see ruffs being faded out the side.

Yes he's doing a job but would anyone of had him ahead of lunny... no.. so like I said if you looking to make hat next step is he the answer? And I'm sorry but are we suddenly Man City and getting previous/current internationals isn't good enough. Has he improved.. yes Is he doing a job.. yes Let's wait and see.

Getting a former 2cap international who was yellow 6 times in a very short period of time is anautomatic replacement and fading some young improving and doing the job midfielder who has started to come good? Is that the answer? No, if Ruffels is doing imf the job and playing well and doing weeknin week out what you expect of a midfielder, then no you don't fade him out otherwise his confidence will go, if however ruffles falls short of the standard required them yes you look at how to fix and if that means dropping Ruffels then so be it. But until then why upset the cart MAPP wouldn't.
