Its pretty obvious that we are going to win, tonight - because we're all expecting us to f*ck up again, at home. So....Oxford United 2 (Sercombe & an o.g.) Bury 1 Att: 6008 with 309 away fans. Terrible game, terrible pitch, terrible ref - 6 bookings (3 for us) and a red card. One of their coaches will crash into the North stand. An owl will land in one of the hot-dog stands (don't know which one). Ever heard of a 'barn owl burger'? You will tonight. One of the floodlight bulbs will explode, as will the directors' box. The scoreboard will malfunction, but no-one will notice, because its crap anyway. The ref (Mr R. Bisto) will die of a ruptured rectum, after a dog runs onto the pitch and bites him there. By the way, if ever a bloody dog does eventually run onto the pitch (unaided), I will donate some cash to charity. Eastwood will display his new tattoo, which reads: 'Jesus saves, but I do it better'. That just about does it for me.

1-1. Low-key performance, low-key crowd. Lundtram injured in 63rd minute. Given that he was banned last year i have a feeling that Lundstram might not play tonight, still have Ruffles, Rothwell and Sercombe so centre midfield is the one position we have some depth in the squad. Can't see Hemmings starting given he is our only centre forward available Sunday either. unless the rules have changed since earlier in the season, a sending off tonight doesnt mean you miss the final, Macdonald got sent off against Swindon in the group stage his suspension was next game in the trophy, Skarz i think picked up 2 bookings in trophy games which meant he missed a trophy game.

Dont get me wrong, i am still very much on the positive bus and have been for a very long time, but if im honest, and ive never predicted we lose, i think we will tonight. Bury have been decent under their new manager and are only 4pts above the drop zone, they are fighting for their lives. On the flip side, our form is crap and we have half a mind on the weekend and an even smaller fraction of a chance of making the play offs. I hope im wrong but i think we will get beat. Regardless, i will be listening in on radox and due to the clock change i will get an early night (1am) 2-1 Bury

I think we'll lose 2-0 tonight. Bury are one of the form teams in the division and will have more to play for; I suspect a number of our players will be too afraid of getting injured before Sunday or banned from playing as a result of a card to put in the sort of shift that's needed. Coupled with the facts that we're at home and it's a Tuesday night, a defeat has to be on the cards... What is the position on red cards? If you get red card in Checkatrade the suspension is NOT carried into the league. Only served in future checkatrade games (Blimey some geezers could have a ban carried for 3 years) eg Macca at Swindon this season. So what if other way, red card tonight in league game?

Evening folks. A glorious evening here in Flatland. Hope it doesn't get too cold for you lot at Grenoble Road.
For those of you who have not yet twigged me, I will prove my insanity by forecasting not just a win but a win by 4 clear goals!
Now that's my ticket on the positive bus booked.
COME ON YOU YELLOWS

Bloody nightmare day at work, so haven't been able to make it down to Oxford in time.
Thinking a tight 1-0. Not sure who scores for us

Surprised to see Hemmings starting. Thought Toni would have got the nod with him being Cup tied for Sunday. I might have been tempted to start Raglan. Dunks has looked tired/been poor lately and I think this is in part due to the lack of competition pushing him. Certainty a strong enough team to get the three points though. COYY

Whatever the result (on Sunday as well) I just hope we have a bit of get up and go about us. Seems that we have stuttered a little bit of late, with key performers going missing. Anyone bottling out of a tackle tonight should be made to run up and down Shotover Hill between now and Sunday.

YP not on yet no listening via "tune in" This is an email I've just received from Yellow Player HD: Akram replied Mar 28, 18:25 Hi, Unfortunately we are not in control of when a radio station or club connects in or out of the commentary. We advise all radio stations and clubs to connect and establish a transmission 30 minutes before the game - in fact our play button goes live an hour before the kick off. In terms of disconnecting some clubs disconnect straight after full time while others run some post match analysis - however all clubs commentary ends any time up to an hour max after for Player HD due to the standard practice in place. Player HD is actively encouraging clubs to establish a connection earlier, hopefully we shall see improvements in the future. Thank you for your patience. Out of the country so missing tonight. We certainly need a win and a performance to set us up for Wembley and put us in a positive frame of mind after the recent run of poor results. Would like to see Hall have a more influential role in the game and get on the scoresheet.

Maguire not even on the bench. He was rated 50/50 for tonight's match, apart from that a pretty strong line-up.
