Anyone who can't make Oldham on August 5th, could always follow the mighty Orient away at Sutton. !!!!! They must be looking forward to that one. Sadly they've been taken over now. I hope they suffer a bit though

Let them stay there as long as we did, even a spell in NL South before they start the long climb back But you know they'll do a Brizzle and come straight back

So, good result for Orient tonight - lost 6-1 to Bromley!
No sendings off or anything, just outclassed by those giants of semi-professional Kent football.
Ma ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha.......

We've been there too though, got smashed at Histon, losing to Tonbridge Angels and Lewes all whilst the club were not in dire straits. I don't really buy into the hate for them, a few of their fans acted dicks on the day but roles reversed we'd have had a few similar fans I'm sure.

That's why we're enjoying their demise so much....

Sorry lerekdilley, but I do not agree.
The Orient fans that day, ably led by their gobshite of a chairman, were a disgrace, as has been documented many many times over the years on this site and other forms of media. I do not believe our fans would have acted that way, and never will, we have more class than that. Yes, we would have celebrated our promotion, but we would NOT have laughed in the faces of crying children and sprayed champagne in people's faces as their bunch of cockney loudmouths did. Can you imagine Darryl Eales acting the way Barry Hearn did that day? Can you imagine our fans acting how theirs did? No way.
THAT is why many of us are now enjoying their demise. May it be long and painful, karma is a bitch.

Might have been even more amusing had they got a foothold on the Olympic Stadium deal and ended up rattling around in about four blocks of seats!

In the latest of our regular "Let's all laugh at Orient" pieces.....they fell to a 2-0 defeat today against the giants that are Boreham Wood FC. www.bbc.com/sport/football/41133426The only downside is that there really doesn't seem to be a single good team in the Conference this season (Dover (!?!) are leading at the moment, despite having claimed less than 2 points per game so far), so there is still a danger that Orient get out at their first attempt. Still hoping they do five years down there like Luton......

Currently losing at home to Gateshead and as results stand will be 19th in the conference 4 points of the relegation spots. Hopefully they get relegated again and Oxford city hammer them next season.

I heard that was NINE games without a win tonight! My thoughts are with them at this difficult time.............lol....

While enjoying the demise of LO,i think mocking them for having less than 3,500 is a bit OTT. Tuesday night, playing a team from the other end of the country, who brought 68 fans(fair play to those loyal 68)i think thats a decent crowd. To put it into context,Aldershot v Sutton last night,2 teams in the play of positions,a local(ish)derby, attracted a crowd of 2,259. It wouldn't surprise me if it was the largest crowd in the Conference last night(Harlepool v Tranmere was a hundred less). Pretty sure we had a few 3k crowds in the conference.
