Meanwhile back in the world of League 2 and the managerial roundabout is going a bit faster ......Leyton Orient manager Edwards has resigned and Danny Webb appointed as their new manager. (Sorry can't do links!) How many managers is that in last two years?

Looks like it might be enough, with a little luck.

Lost at home to Carlisle. Two tricky away games coming up followed by a 6 pointer against Notts County. It may take 11 years but what goes around .......

It's a brilliant read. My hope is that Notts County survive. They've had a torrid time for years. I can see either Morecambe or Newport joining Leyton Orient. Martin Ling says they're too big to go down. Maybe Newcastle and Villa might disagree as would Portsmouth and Bolton. It might actually help them by going down. Bristol arovers have bounced back

Currently losing 1-0 at home to Morecambe. 5 mins to go.......... And that's how it finished. That was Orient's game in hand on the 3 teams directly above them. Serious trouble now.

They can look forward to the East London derby against Dagenham and the short car drive to Bromley....as we start dreaming of Wembley again and the championship

6 straight losses in the league after shipping out a few players over January, they hopefully will freefall now.

They're bound to win a few before the end of the season. But there can't be any worse teams with Newport picking up points. They could sell finish bottom

I shall look forward to dancing on their pitch when and gloating when they get relegated.

I think we're all looking forward to watching you dancing on their pitch, Colin! So the scenario is Leyton Orient relegated and replaced by FGR thereby giving the Scum a local derby they might actually stand a chance of winning. Everyone's happy .... well maybe not!

Us fans should pay for a plane to fly over their ground on relegation day with the banner, 'return agent becchetti, mission accomplished - OUFC' (or words to that affect).
I think it would be a nice touch!

Some wonderful pieces of text in that article:
"Mr Becchetti has a great charisma and the players definitely feel his absence," - I sstrongly doubt that
Orient were founded in 1881, and have been members of the Football League since their election in 1905 - but their status is now in jeopardy.
"The club are too big to go down, but the way it is going it looks like a distinct possibility," former O's player Matt Lockwood, 40, said. - Weren't we 'too big to go down'?
"If Orient let things slip now, it is a long way back coming out of the National League." Yes, yes it is - good luck!
As Cypress Hill said - what go around come around kid.

To big to go down with a crowd of 2.5 thousand mid week? They will be at their level.

If They go down they could also have a derby game against Chelmsford City if they come up from National South. Maidenhead would be a distinct possibility. If that happens we might get to see Leyton Orient playing at Maidenhead on the last game of the season facing National South and the opportunity to play Oxford City. It could happen. Torquay and York are looking shaky and Stockport went down six or so years ago and haven't made it back yet
