I read somewhere that if we all post like billy-ho a friendly leopard might come along and buy the ground and give it to Darryl. Thus saving the club and our bacon.
Could be the best chance we've got. True supporters are bound to post here. Post early and post often.

I quite like leopards. Very widespread and successful predator. Not sure Oxfordshire is their natural home though? Wouldn't any new leopard football club owner start eating small children? Have to keep it out of Olly's Corner, or whatever it's called.
Anyway, common or garden leopard, clouded leopard or snow leopard? Snow leopards always seem most trustworthy when David Attenborough's pursuing them through the Himalayas. Would probably have the best interests of OUFC at heart, if you keep him fed.

They used to live in colonies and the condition is also known as Hansen's disease.

Will he pass the FA's suitable owner test? (silly me, of course he will, everyone does). How has he made his money? Buying the ground and giving it to Darryl? must be a money laundering wheeze. What's he after? Much due diligence required by OxVox. Could take at least until the end of the season.

If we did manage to come to a leopard related agreement, would we need to revise our kit to include spots, knowing full well that we would never be able to change it?

Not sure bacon and leopards are a good combination but I'm prepared to give it a go.

With a friendly leopard owning the club that will be happening. They used to live in colonies and the condition is also known as Hansen's disease. At least they used to ring bells to warn blind ox impersonators they were approaching

Anyway, I understood that nice Mr Kassam has said he won't sell to an individual. Is this Leopard one of the Tanzanian Leopards? Might make a difference.

Anyway, I understood that nice Mr Kassam has said he won't sell to an individual. This is true Arthur, but contributor Holdsteady has reminded us that there is a gaggle (prowl?) of leopards at Cotswold Wildlife Park. He might sell to a leopard collective, if not an individual.

That is possible, Pete. Since posting I have just established that the Leopard is "the most common large cat in Tanzania but they are of a very secretive nature and you might find it hard to spot one" No pun intended I'm sure.

I am particularly interested to know from Mr Cannell where he is keeping the bacon he refers to and wants to save. I think he should share it. I am very partial to a bacon sandwich with Coleman's English mustard.

I am very partial to a bacon sandwich with Coleman's English mustard. Our bacon, ours, is stored in a cold safe somewhere in the North Stand. I say 'ours' because it is managed by OxVox and Jem distributes it to those of us members who wish for it on matchdays, while we queue up to use the little paraffin heater and the pan. Re: mustard, is it Chris Coleman's?

A leopard in the chairmans box i am afraid wouldn't stop the in-fighting. Only a brief paws for applause.

This is why the friendly leopards are expanding their habitat and buying football stadia throughout the world - so they don't accidentally breed with the Kardassian-like snow leopards.
