Need a fast start tonight, get at them right from the off like they did to us. We need the prize money and I quite fancy our chances against Rotherham. Strongest team possible for me, afterall game time is better than any training you can do. From what I saw in the first game, it should be Taylor alongside Hemmings with Maguire and Hall wide.

By playing Taylor in a front two I would say we have learnt a great deal Alongside a seventeen year old Tyler Roberts? Don't think so. What's his age got to do with it? I haven't rated him thus far, but thank god he is playing in a two with someone who can hold the ball up and win headers. Reckon Tyler will be the standout player this eve.

He's a kid, and he got bullied by the big Macclesfield centre halves in the first leg. That's what his age has to do with it for me.

It looks like being a very small crowd. The magic of the FA Cup eh? Will there be any personnel changes? Will Taylor, Ruffels or Martin come in (I suspect that Martin will come in for Dunkley) Good prediction! But shake it up and see snow globe side tonight?

Five changes from Saturday! FFS didn't we learn anything from the first game!!!!! I think what we've learned is that Mapp & co. don't care very much about the Cup this year.....especially when the reward for winning this game is a trip to Rotherham.....

But I think winning is a habit, and a full strength starting line up would have given us a better chance of doing that tonight to take into Saturday's game at Bury.

Feel free to throw this back in my face later tonight (if we win comfortably) but why would Appleton play a stronger team (on paper) at Southend in the meaningless Football League Trophy than in a second round FA Cup replay? 27,000 quid is up for grabs for the winners tonight and another 67,500 if we can beat Rotherham, compared to 20,000 for beating Southend.
I'm concerned about Johnson at left back given the quality of Macclesfield's wingers. Would have played Hemmings up front with Taylor to try to get him scoring again rather than trying Roberts up front again against their two huge centre backs. Fingers crossed that having been granted a second chance after being outplayed the first time around that this team selection doesn't backfire.
