Shame to lose the clean sheet. And Skarz too.
Is there an underlying issue with Thomas? Limping out of so many games and the coming straight back is concerning to me. A bit like those 'confidence' injuries Owen Hargreaves kept picking up.
Otherwise, an absolutely perfect response to a poor run of games.

The injury situation is a worry as they could be long term but three points is very welcome. Well done the lads.

Good to see rob hall back, thought he did well, not sure what all those medical experts on here when we signed him will think, after all all those facts and figures that people don't come back from that injury. It was like he's never left.
Great performance , players all in their natural positions. All doing the role they should be. Could easily have had another 2/3 if it wasn't for their keeper . Same again Tuesday please

Same reason Barnsley sent him back last season Any more info on what that was about? Pretty much exactly the same as what mapp just said, loads of talent just very unprofessional. Very highly rated at arsenal but beentold he's running out of chances to prove he has what it takes to make it

Well, which United will turn up, I wonder? If Oxford United, the one we love and trust are ready and roaring to go, then we should lose by the odd goal (1-2, with Dunkley scoring) Att: 8979 and 1454 away fans. The problem at the moment is, sadly to say, its incredibly hard to predict a sensible outcome with our recent performances (you may have noticed that my predictions have been somewhat off the mark, so to say). The directors' box hasn't yet exploded, nor has the scoreboard. Skarz hasn't been showing affection to Dunkley, like I've been forecasting, of late. No fractured coccyx's or dislocated clavicles. No mistimed headers from the aforementioned Dunkley. No Clint Eastwood quotes from our goalkeeper. The refs have, in fact, remembered to bring their whistles and weren't given stupid other instruments to use. MA hasn't actually had a nervous breakdown and ended up in the local 'bin' (er, that might just change today, of course). The floodlights haven't blown a fuse and no stupid birds have accidentally flown into them. No away fans have brought any dopey musical instruments into our three-sided arena. None of our players have had sex with other, after scoring a bloody goal. This is all down to our indifferent performances, which have caused havoc with my match predicting abilities. However, today, I can feel a positive vibe coming on (no dildo jokes, please!) Yes.....................a dog will run onto the pitch during today's game. That just about does it for me. Is Skarz still talking to Dunks?

Crowley doesn't seem to have the right attitude. Something MApp eluded to in the Facebook chat when he said he didn't have the complete blend of personalities in the group yet. I don't think we will be seeing much of him now and I don't blame MApp for not wanting a player like that around the team.

A decent performance against a very up and down opposition - I'm just talking about the 21. I think a gust of win has just hit him and he fell over again. Dive, dive, dive!
A largely decent and on it performance. The players looked motivated and not as passive as we've seen recently and we scored goals because of it. The bookings were harsh considering some players got let off for worse things. Their manager waiting until half time to make changes cost them the game. I can see why they have been down at the bottom. No physical presence from the CBs should embarrass them.
I felt sorry for Skarz, booked harshly and then clattered by Dunkley accidentally. Whoever the loud mouth was in the East Stand criticising the medical staff should keep thoughts to himself because it was embarrassing to listen to.

Top performance from the boys today. High intensity from the off. Some really good players turned out today and it was all over by half-time. Speaking of which, Can we please have ceasar the dog as half-time entertainment every week? He was f*cking awesome and i don't think that the crossbar challenge comes anywhere near in entertainment as that canine calamity. He's a sniffer dog for the army apparently, but we have given isis a massive advantage if they know his weakness is a rolling football. That fucker went berserk on the pitch chasing balls everywhere, then p*ssed on the advertising hordings. Absolutely hilarious!

Good to see us start off at a good tempo, keep it simple whilst doing some nice intricate passing at times and pumping it long when required.
Thought Coventry's defence was woeful/one of the poorest I've seen for a long time. Felt we could have got a few more goals, but just took our foot off the pedal.
Nice to see us just getting back to basics, and let's hope we following this up with another 3 points Tuesday making things look a bit rosier!

Caesar should replace Ryan Taylor....so much pace, he would p*ss over the opposition. To be honest, I'd say Coventry were the poorest I've seen in ages, poorer than some of the l2 sides I watched last season. Dunkley is awesome in defence and I think we are starting to see the best of Hemmings. Maguire is easily our most clinical striker and Eastwood the best goalie in years. Coventrys goalkeeper although far from good, made three brilliant saves in as many seconds. Just glad one of those didn't go in

If it's the same person I saw then I couldn't tell you if he was off his tits or on day release. He was shouting "dead, dead, dead" at one point.

What a difference to a week ago. Looked like a totally different team out there. Ledson was very good today and so was Lunny. Perhaps last week out did him the world of good. Thought Hemmings did very well today and could of easily got another. Love Macca on the right, and think if he played right last weekend we would if looked more solid in midfield. Also like his work ethic! It was refreshing to sit through a second half where you didn't feel nervous. Hopefully that will give us a nice confidence boost for the next game.
Quick word on Coventry. Shite!
Great support again today.

Appleton finally dropped his pretty-pretty tippy-tappy approach and just told the players to get into them and get the ball in the box. Give him his due it wasn't exactly route one stuff, but it was sure a lot more direct.
