A large attendance expected and hopefully a good partisan crowd and atmosphere- without too much hostility. Possibility of App changing his formation, and a definate change in personnel is on the cards. Hoping to see us fight fire with fire as I truly believe we can out gun them on 'Military day,' going for a comfortable 2-0 win to us in front of a crowd of around 8, 500.

Nail-biting 1-0 to us, scored in the 88th 0-1. Own goal by Aaron Martin, disastrously forgetting he doesn't play for them any more.

Haven't won in the league in 34 days, going to say we will win. Hoping Aaron Martin and Rob Hall get game time. Let's hope too see 2 halves of football this week instead of just one.

1-1 with a late equaliser from them!
Hope I'm wrong though, but they did look okay against Scunthorpe last week.

Early goal for us but level by half time. Then they will go 2-1 up second half before dunks rescues us with a late bullet header to make it 2-2 in front of a crowd of 9,104. Also a red card for them in second half for two bookings. You heard it here first...

I'll take any sort of win, another defeat today will be damaging to confidence. There'll be a decent atmosphere, they're bringing a good number of fans and with reports of them in the home end it should add a bit of edge to the atmosphere.
I'm not confident though , too many players are out of form and low on confidence.

Can see us kick starting our season here with a classy second half performance to win 3-0. Maguire free kick, Dunks header and a 25 yard screamer from Marvellous Marvin.
Att: 9,297 with 1491 away fans. (Maybe nearer 1600 away fans if you count them in the home ends too) :-)

These next two (I think three) are really big games. Seven points from three would put us right back on track in a very tight league and all within the space of a week. 3-0 to us. Maguire, Hemmings and Hall. Not sure about Amersham Dave's dog but i'm sure it will appear somewhere.
See you all there!

Well, which United will turn up, I wonder? If Oxford United, the one we love and trust are ready and roaring to go, then we should lose by the odd goal (1-2, with Dunkley scoring) Att: 8979 and 1454 away fans. The problem at the moment is, sadly to say, its incredibly hard to predict a sensible outcome with our recent performances (you may have noticed that my predictions have been somewhat off the mark, so to say). The directors' box hasn't yet exploded, nor has the scoreboard. Skarz hasn't been showing affection to Dunkley, like I've been forecasting, of late. No fractured coccyx's or dislocated clavicles. No mistimed headers from the aforementioned Dunkley. No Clint Eastwood quotes from our goalkeeper. The refs have, in fact, remembered to bring their whistles and weren't given stupid other instruments to use. MA hasn't actually had a nervous breakdown and ended up in the local 'bin' (er, that might just change today, of course). The floodlights haven't blown a fuse and no stupid birds have accidentally flown into them. No away fans have brought any dopey musical instruments into our three-sided arena. None of our players have had sex with other, after scoring a bloody goal. This is all down to our indifferent performances, which have caused havoc with my match predicting abilities. However, today, I can feel a positive vibe coming on (no dildo jokes, please!) Yes.....................a dog will run onto the pitch during today's game. That just about does it for me. Is Skarz still talking to Dunks?
