Great result, not so much a performance. Sercs is going to struggle to get his place back of rothwell. Great performance again, and raglan, some great headers at the end when needed. Maguire there when needed. Poor ref again. But 3 bloody lovely points

That's Bolton and Bradford six points And Southend and Wimbledon zero points. On our day we can beat anyone in this league if we set up right and play a pressing game... need to make use of Johnson's pace - he could be an asset in the right position, I'm puzzled to what that position is! Take no prisoners at Coventry and we'll be in a great position on edge of playoffs

Already back home in Aylesbury. Very enjoyable game, we had the better of the second half, Bradford only looked dangerous on the break. Their number 4 controlled the midfield but we have him much less time in the second half. It was a really silly foul on Lundstram for the free kick as he'd overrun the ball, but a very well placed shot by Maguire which wrong-footed their keeper.
The tickets were a birthday present so glad it was this week and not last! Also my two year old's first game so a 100% record for him. The family room under the North Stand was very good for young children, lots of arts and crafts.
Funniest moment of the game, their player got injured and sat down out of touch. They delayed taking the throw in. A few boos from the East Stand. Their injured player gets up, hobbles onto the pitch, and sits back down. Howls of derision from most of the ground. The ref tells him to move back off the pitch, which he does. They still don't take the throw. The physio runs across the pitch and attends to the injured player. They still don't take the throw. More boos. The ref books their player with the ball for time-wasting (one decision he got right today).

The penalty. A massive cheating dive from their player. The Ref then refused to give anything in the box and let worse fouls go unpunished. Appleton calling it a joke got it right. Our players need to dive and cheat more now. Today is another example of honesty gets you nowhere in football other than laughed at for not doing it. Refs have got worse... Bradford cannot complain too much about the last minute because both the penalty and the rugby tackles of Taylor went unpunished.
Onto better things. We let them dictate the first half but came out in the 2nd and really bossed them about. Macca's strong challenge did us a favour as without an attacking LB, they looked toothless. Bradford lack a plan B. It's all smurfs up front that the CBs got a grip of and didn't let go. Rothwell did well today, full of energy and passing.
After Sunday, a bloody nice 3 points.

Really pleased with that win after last weeks disappointment. Notable performances came from Chris Maguire, the scot with the lot. Taylor, Ruffels, Rothwell and Raglan Played really well too and 3 points is a welcome bonus so late on. what formation had Taylor playing winger?

Many would have enjoyed the goal celebrations from the fabulous vantage point of the car park. Still, it makes it a little easier for the rest of us to leave when the game is over, I suppose.

Highlight of the game (bar the goal) was singing 'Oh Ryan Taylor runs down the wing for me'...

Hope for at least a 0-0 game, but not expecting much from this game. We showed a weakness against brute strength against Wimbledon and I hear Bradford are similar in approach (I stand to be corrected if I am wrong). The one good thing going is that we make a habit of stopping the opposition's losing streak. Maybe this time we will stop the opposition's winning streak. Well it turns out they actually play very good football. The sort of side we do well against. Cracking game that could have gone either way (and probably should have if Bradford's forwards didn't have an off day). Still three points are three points and I'm quite happy about that

Mouthy northerners coming out shouting the odds, scruffy bunch, a few Oxford shirts took the brunt, handbags, that the police over reacted too.
Burslem, next week will be very interesting as usual. The vale seem to have a real dislike of Oxford following recent events.

Would take a draw coventry will be a hard game away and I think our focus should be to get the three points there rather then today as long as we take a point we can build on that I guess you'll be happy with a point at Coventry now?
