I think they will bring 1000+, as we will take to them. Not a must win game, but one we can't lose, as to get no points from 2 home games would not be acceptable

Oh dear, oh dear. Bradford have done good this season, so will be bloody hard to crack open. Oxford United 2 (Dunkley & Maguire - pen) Bradford Whatever. Att: 7879 and 979 away fans. The game should be quite entertaining, but its the off-field antics that are getting my juices flowing. For some unknown reason, the scoreboard will show Barnet's game (maybe because the scoreboard will be confused, because ours looks just like theirs). After 64 minutes, it will totally malfunction and flash a picture of Donald Trump with a great big cheesy, all-American grin on his face. MA will walk out with the team with a bandage around his head. Skarz will walk out on crutches. Ka-Ka-Curse-him will walk out on OUFC (please). Dunkley will do the cha cha, after winning a place on Strictly Come Pratting About. A gorilla which escaped from whatever zoo will walk out onto the pitch dressed as MacDonald. It will be ten minutes before anyone notices Mac lying tied up in the changing room. The monkey, suitably depressed, will skulk off and join UKIP. Eleven people will be arrested, dressed as clowns. It will take the police half an hour to realise it is actually the Bradford City players and their confusing kit. The City sub will spring a leak and sink. Jefferson Louis, 37, will not, in fact Join Oxford City but be named as a sub in our team, due to a lack of decent bloody forwards. A dog, dressed as a whippet, will run onto the pitch and bite the ref (Mr. Johnny Dureks). The dog will get rabies and run in front of a bus. One of the floodlights will stop working, but no-one will notice, because its not a night game. A Bradford fan will have flares; not the firework type, but, still living in the 70's, a pair of awful-designed trousers. An Oxford fan will bring a drum into the ground. He won't play it, because he left the stick at home. As a last 'Up yours Oxford' devious plan, Mr Curse-him will make the directors sit in a hot-dog stand. The match will be sponsored by DUREX, which is ironic, because we've all been f*cked by Curse-him. That just about does it for me.

Hope for at least a 0-0 game, but not expecting much from this game. We showed a weakness against brute strength against Wimbledon and I hear Bradford are similar in approach (I stand to be corrected if I am wrong).
The one good thing going is that we make a habit of stopping the opposition's losing streak. Maybe this time we will stop the opposition's winning streak.

Not expecting much from today, just hope that we learn from last week. Going to be difficult with Ruffels or Johnson left back. I'm hoping Rothwell is back in the team in a central position today.
I'd be happy with a point, they've had a great start to the season.

I have a feeling we will lose 1-2 today but will be more positive than last week Maybe Rob Hall will be featuring soon alongside Maguirr to terrorise defences

We'll win 2-1, with us getting the benefit of a dodgy referee's decision, for a change! A scrappy bad tempered affair though with yellow cards aplenty.
Att: 6,996. {754 Away}

Taking my 2 year old to his first game. What time do the parking spaces in the car park or on the road fill up usually?

He's got a point though. He made a few absolute howlers and was run out of town on a pike. Let's hope there's a lot of pies on a lot of faces later. As to the match it really could go any way. "See which Oxford turns up" is a cliche and one that we have used all too often. I can see a draw today, but not a clean sheet alas.

Last week I started the thread with a forecast that was probably the only thing about that match that made some of you smile.
So this week I'll be a little less optimistic and put us down for a 2-0 win, This because it appears that the better the opposition the better we play.
Fingers crossed!

Would take a draw coventry will be a hard game away and I think our focus should be to get the three points there rather then today as long as we take a point we can build on that

We are at home and can beat anyone in the league on our day. Are you suggesting we take it easy, just pick up a point then actually try against Coventry?

I hope the team is fired up today and takes some of the frustration of last week out positively. Playing top of the league and after last weeks debacle from the man in black, nothing to lose today and motivation should be tip top. I hope our players our far more snide when fouled and resort to the loathsome roll around like you are mortally wounded, get up like you are fine and we manage the Ref far better in general.

Bradford win 2-0. Still, it cannot be worse than last week and I don't think we'll play that poorly again.
I think the thin hopes of us doing a Burton were probably extinguished last week. Where would we be without Maguire?
