Brilliant result, really needed that! Well done to Michael Appleton and the lads. 2 more big efforts required to make absolute certain.
So pleased, and im like some of the posters - No nails left.

Accrington got a tough match next week Our two games are hardest, Accrington's next hardest, and Bristol's the easiest. But that's just on paper, and we've seen time and time again that paper doesn't count for much.

I might be wrong about that thinking about it I would not say WW away is an easy game Depends, their fans heavily suggesting the pikey will rest players

That was a massive, MASSIVE result!
With results going against us, elsewhere, barring Plymouth. The players came out and were simply immense, today.
MacDonald? Incredible performance following recent stint in hospital. MacGuire? MOTM!! Hylton - ran himself into the ground, as usual. Happy Birthday, Callum O'Dowda. Roofe and Sercs...? thanks guys! = 3 points Great team performance.

I might be wrong about that thinking about it I would not say WW away is an easy game Ainsworth's team wont give you an inch and will always play you tough regardless of what team they put out. My thinking is that we'll have a bit more quality when it matters, as Pompey showed today. Not sure Accrington have that.

I would not say WW away is an easy game Depends, their fans heavily suggesting the pikey will rest players surely given they won't get playoffs and their season is over they'd rather have a good home send off to their fans than win a relatively meaningless away game?

Went to watch Shakespeare today and turned my phone off to avoid score updates, never been so nervous on a matchday. Utter relief at what really is a sensational turn-around in home form, absolutely unbelievable.
Bristol fail to win next week and we manage to win, and the job will be done. Will try my hardest to get to the game next week but the trains aren't making it easy. COYY.

A very good palate cleansing performance today. Hard work, endeavour, skill, commitment and calmness. Some big game players came out today and really showed their stuff. Skarz and Macca put in a lot considering how ill and injured they've been. Maguire playing down the middle really looked like the player he is capable of being. All in, everyone did their jobs well.
The pressure on Rovers gets higher and higher. Accy have to go to Wycombe and we are very much in with a good chance. The confidence in the club will take a massive bounce and a week off will help those injured and ill get just a little better.

Thought that was a real gutsy performance, they should be proud of themselves.
Scarz probably shouldn't have played but made himself available, Roofe not fully fit but scored, MacDonald on a drip earlier in the week and ran himself into the ground.
Maguire was outstanding and Hylts was also great.

great for the lads to play so well, hope they can take that momentum and confidence with them into next weeks game, if we can repeat that, we win again

Depends, they will probably have more fans at our place than they do at home

We should give up on York, home games since Xmas
Newport 0-1 Stevenage 2-1 Notts Co 2-1 Exeter 2-0 Northampton 1-2 Luton 2-3 Barnet 1-1 Crawley 2-2 Orient 1-1 Wycombe 1-1 Portsmouth 3-1
Unbeaten in 5, only 3 defeats in 11 and haven't failed to score at home since 2 Jan
A sneaky and an Oxford win at Carlisle and it celebration time

How was the tackle their player did not a red card? Just shows how unfortunately inconsistent Refs are.

Hes not been mentioned today yet from the posts I've read but well done to Josh Ruffels, thought he put in a decent performance today.
Sercombe not so good with the ball as we all know he can but kept working and putting in a shift, can't ask for more than that when your not at your best.

Gutsy performance from a patched up side, was so relieved when Sercs scored! Hartlepool looked a decent team and played some great football, I was certain they were going to pinch one. Hylton superb again but Maguire was different class.

Absolutely agree, Ruffels had a fantastic game today, he broke up the play and never put a foot wrong, when moved to left back he never went to ground rashly and stood his ground. He deserves huge amounts of credit today.

Now our best players are coming back, I think we will do it. Just praying by some freak event it doesn't go to the final weekend.

Just back, A great game congrats to Hartlepool who came and played rather than sit back and frustrate. A good all round performance Maguire earned the MOM although Macca was very close second. My nerves are shot though just need to turn the next to teams over and celebrate on the 7th May, Can't make Carlisle walking the daughter down the aisle so hopefully it will be a great day and not just for giving my daughter away but to also hearing York have a point or three against Brizzle Rivera and 3 points for the U's. COYY

COYY So that was you on Radox! Big congrats to all the family and family to be and enjoy the day! Agree with your description of Hartlepool, decent side now they have some decent direction and management. They will do well next season. As for our boys, well, just loads of admiration and wonder at the return to playing for all those who were out through injury and sickness. Just amazed at the guts of Macca and the determination of Skarzy. Cod was full of running and just so pleased for Roofe and his goal, what a performance all round. And, at last, the Manorloungers have seen the boys win at home again, first time since Boxing day! The fizz is open and going down a treat.

A great great performance with a great great crowd. Considering our recent drop in form coupled with injury/sickness problems, I thought this was a truly heroic effort and possibly the most important match of the season. Very nervy, until the 92nd minute, and we still sometimes look shaky at the back. On the other hand if it hadn't been for some spectacular efforts from their goalie we could have scored another two or three.
We only need to win two more in whole of the rest of the season and we're home and dry!

Superb result, and a fantastic effort from a number of players who obviously weren't fully fit, but made the difference - thinking Skarz and MacDonald particularly.
