If I was the club, I'd be on the phone to Karren Brady trying to get a scoreboard from WHU. Would be much chaper to go second hand, got be worth asking about.

It's a good job Craddock is not playing for us still, the scoreboard could be in real danger in that position..

Better not leave it there overnight, might just end up in one of the locals living rooms

Doesn't look any good to me as it's facing the wrong way, wouldn't be able to see a thing!

Doesn't look any good to me as it's facing the wrong way, wouldn't be able to see a thing! It's for the ones who can't get a wycombe ticket so they can stand outside and watch. Thinking of that can we have a beam back for the Carlisle game for anyone who can't go Sent from my SM-G920F using proboards

I sometimes wonder if a good scoreboard which shows highlights in game might help to shift more tickets and particularly amongst families.
I'm not bothered either way about a scoreboard particularly but I can imagine that they're good for kids in helping to keep entertainment levels up.
Will probably start taking my daughter up in a few years when she's old enough and I would imagine a big screen with replays would help to stave off the boredom and restlessness that often sets in for young kids (no offence to the players of course!)

The one at Wycombe, and also West Brom from memory - shows highlights from previous games before kick off, which I thought was good.

I've got used to not having a scoreboard at the stadium...not sure one is needed..?

I noticed at Newport they had a digital clock showing match elapsed time down at the terrace end, and a big advertising electronic display behind the goal, but it didn't seem to show anything but static adverts when I had a look round.
Also does anyone else find it a bit petty when away announcers only say the home team scorers, and don't bother if they are scored against?

I remember at WBA that before the game they were talking to fans and showing it on the big screen before the game. Thought that was quite good as pre-match entertainment

I've got used to not having a scoreboard at the stadium...not sure one is needed..? As someone with a very bad memory I often find it helpful to be able to see which 2 teams are playing, the score in the current match, and even the time, all things I have really struggled with since the board stopped working.

Yes I have to say just something as simple as a clock showing elapsed time might be useful, save me keep checking my watch and trying to remember what time it kicked off....

I've got used to not having a scoreboard at the stadium...not sure one is needed..? Yeah lets not replace it, and while we're at it maybe pull down the three stands that we have and just put a rope around the pitch!
Seriously anything and everything is needed to enhance my football club and alas our rented ground. And with the improved OxVox team in place they are no doubt doing everything I'm sure to improve this.

So daryl decides to spend 10's of thousands on a new scoreboard, do u think. He's silly enough that any money made from advertising on it would go to kassam? Does he take a share of our shirt sponsorship? Or programme advertising ?

Maybe it would look good on top of the new temporary stand.

I'd rather the chairman spent the money on a scoreboard than a temp stand which will be empty most of the time.

I think all fans are allowed an opinion, and football chairmen are the last people who should be exempt from questions.
