Er, I think this thread should be in Miscellaneous. It's slightly disturbing that you call it the pink beast, but even more worrying that you want us to sing to it.

Although slightly surprised, I'm full of admiration for Mr Creighton for coming out now he's fully embedded into Wrexham, the gay capital of Wales,

The Story has made it to the 3rd most read story on the BBC news website! This must be something with a national Appeal.

What message are they trying to get across if so? Bit pathetic really and they lose alot of sympathy. Batman outfits is one thing, attacking beacons of the local community that are loved is another.

Am I the only one that thinks it actually looks quite brilliant? Pity they painted over the 'Oxford United' bit on the plinth - but otherwise, it's quite striking.

Apart form it being vandelism, and bang out of order, they have done a good job, just the wrong colour. I reckon it should be painted yellow, it would stand out and look decent (if done properly)

Not art. A crime.
Whoever they are, they haven’t helped themselves. Nothing against any cause, putting a few quid in a bucket is a regular event around the stadium. Presumably the club will now have to fork out on cleaning. Not funny.

I think you'd struggle to make it look anything other than tacky if you painted it yellow to be honest.
I like this though. Reminiscent of David Cerny painting the Soviet tank in Prague.
Although without quite as significant a meaning (if there is any at all in fact!)

Somebody should paint the Tottenham chicken pink, then they'd have a cock'n'bull story.

Heard today that someone has phoned Jack FM this morning bragging about what they have done and they then handed a tape of the phone call to the Police.

At least the club is getting some free publicity! It'll be surrounded by people taking pictures tomorrow, should get some sponsor logos near it!

Presumably the club will now have to fork out on cleaning. Not funny. If those given community service sentences for the Vale & Aldershot fiascos can use their time to clean it, everyone is a winner. No point getting irate over the pink ox - not as if it's gravestones or memorials being vandalised. It's just a lump of bronze, easily cleaned.
