This season is turning into a shitter. Threadbare just isnt the word. My gran has more pace than our team and shes 95 with new hips. If your gran has more pace than GVK and Napa, she must be some gran ....

According to Dan Church on Twitter:
Aaron Martin is set to partner captain John Mousinho in the heart of Oxford's defence at Plymouth, following Nelson's injury.
Williamson and Van Kessel back in training next week. Raglan, Mehmeti and Long making good progress. Malachi Napa could feature at #PAFC.

I reckon that without Hall we’ve got one of the slowest teams in league 1. Napa and GVK coming back will add to the speed ... Any news please on when these players might be back. Many Thanks.
Raglan GVK Mechmeti Williamson Long Pekalski
Hall/Nelson finished for the season presumably.
How could so many people be right in either predicting or worrying that this situation might happen. Where the players coming in, were either injury prone likely to become injured. If the fans see it, why couldn't Pinnochio and clotet?

Myself and Mr Baldi have put a answer to your original question on page 2 of the thread. Williamson is in the match day squad.

Hall recovered well after his ACL so (having just had a meniscus repair on my ACL ruptured knee) about six weeks ago and now at a stage that I’m jogging and hopping etc. He should be back in reasonable time certainly for most of the second half of the season. Will depend if they find anything else as it can also result in ligament tear or viceversa

Whilst I acknowledge arthroscopy is the gold standard, MRI is a hugely specific and sensitive modality for soft tissue injuries of the knee, somewhere in the realm of 95% in most reports. We can be hopeful that the prognosis of 4 months out for Robbie is very conservative indeed.

They couldn’t tell from my MRI due to the cartilage flipping and blocking the pictures. It was when they went in that they fully confirmed that there was also a partial rupture of the ACL leaving it ineffective

Went for arthroscopic surgery and found a "lambda rupture" of the ACL that was not seen on the MRI.

Imagine holding a thin strip of paper in the air, rip the paper from the bottom upwards half way and see how the paper flaps. Looks like the Greek lambda sign = lambda rupture. The more you know, eh? Ended in ACL reconstruction anyway...

But I do respectfully ask how long ago this might have been; we have hulking great 7 Tesla magnets these days, and I would hope United wouldn’t spare any expense in imaging our players. I refer for (and review) these things daily (albeit not in sports medicine); and I still contend that with good clinical examination and the best modern imaging, I’d be VERY surprised if a fully ruptured ACL was only diagnosed at arthroscopy. Meniscal repair is a relatively modern fad and with the inter-current health of the pro footballer, and the (daily) rehab available, Gawd knows I hope Robbie’s sniffing around the first team again by the end of Feb.

It was August this year at the JR and surgery at the NOC. I’m eight weeks into my recovery now and have opted to leave the ACL partially ruptured/ineffective. The two previous ACLs were 10 and 11 years ago respectively.
