If, and it's a bit if (IMO), we win tomorrow then it will be 15 points from a fifth of the season. Pretty decent for such a big turnaround in manager and playing staff. Certainly something to build on.

Right. We're playing a team that hasn't won away since the last time Boris Johnson brushed his hair. I'll go with: Oxford United 5 (Hall 2, Ledson 2 and an og) Walsall 3. Att: 8676 with 888 away fans. United will finish the game with four injured players. One broken coccyx, one fractured clavicle and two bruised egos. The directors' box will be empty, due to a flea infestation. The scoreboard will only display the score in black and white. The floodlights will be duller than an Oxford University student. The hot-dog stand behind the East stand will be stolen at half-time. At some point, a dog will run onto the pitch. That new player, whose name I can't pronounce, will make his debut and score an own goal. The ref will do something really controversial - he will order a scrum on the half-way line. One of the linesmen will be arrested at half-time. Eastwood will threaten to resign, after letting the third Walsall goal in, through his legs. Their manager will get the sack, after the game. One of their fans will have a drum. That just about does it for me.

Disappointing attendance with a p*ss-poor atmosphere in the 3 sided bunker. Oxford win a nervy match 1-0. Mehmeti comes off the bench late on to score the winner, a new hero is born and all is well. Nick Harris has a shocker.

3-0 Oxford. Obika to get his first couple league goals and Hall with the other.

Not got good feelings about this. Reckon we will lose 0-1 highlighting the desperate need for a striker. We beat them 7-1 and 6-1 in the past but alas not today

0-2 Oxford's decline continues and the site/Radox goes into meltdown. I'm usually wrong with these predictions.

Need to start quickly and take our chances. Hopefully they've worked on Obika's finishing and Eastwood's shot stopping from 20 yards at the army camp!
Any sort of win will do to stop a gap between us and the playoffs developing. Don't care if it's ugly.
I'd like to see Van Kessel start in place of Henry and Obika up front. I'd prefer Carroll at right back over Mousinho, he's great centre back but certainly is not a right back.

If Obika is starting up front then I'm confident we will get a couple of goals and probably win. If he isn't then I think it's going to be a horrible afternoon.

Win by 3 goals. Continuation of our up and down start. A slow first half with a 1-0 lead from hall. Come out firing 2nd half, early second goal, they have one sent off. Score 1/2 late on with agon netting on his debut in the last min 3-0 or 4-1 if they can shoot from distance

The question is - which Oxford side will turn up?
Going for a win, despite our embarrassing performance from last week.

Ubeka needs to have the same respect given to all the other players. Vincastle pain and mouseenio don't get it, so why should Ubiki?😠 Could it be rocist?

Not too sure about Walsall's scouting network, according to Whitney Rothwell 'sits in front of the defence'
I reckon a 2-1 win today with goals from Obika and Rothwell (after another surging run from midfield just to add salt to the wound..)

Q. Is the kick off of matches in the EFL still decided by a toss of a coin? Or, is the home team now automatically given the choice of which end to kick to? Some bloke attendant at a petrol service reckons 'we' no longer use a coin, tbh I haven't been paying to much attention to know for sure! And, if memory serves me (if) we have kicked off all our league home games towards the fence end.. Hmm

Quite a big game all things considered. A win and we are right back up there, lose or draw and its one win in seven league games and a slightly concerning league trajectory/position.
2-1 Obika and Hall
