Judging by the position of the segregation netting, there may be more stewards than Walsall fans in attendance

Ubeka needs to have the same respect given to all the other players. Vincastle pain and mouseenio don't get it, so why should Ubiki?😠 Could it be rocist? You knot have spel cheque, ignor Amus. Ignore anus, Shirley?

Q. Is the kick off of matches in the EFL still decided by a toss of a coin? Or, is the home team now automatically given the choice of which end to kick to? Some bloke attendant at a petrol service reckons 'we' no longer use a coin, tbh I haven't been paying to much attention to know for sure! And, if memory serves me (if) we have kicked off all our league home games towards the fence end.. Hmm Law 8 Kick off PROCEDURE The team that wins the toss of a coin decides which goal it will attack in the first half. Their opponents take the kick-off.

Bit concerned about this one. After losing 3-1 you'd think they'd spend time on the training pitch working in the weaknesses that defeat highlighted but instead they go on a team bonding thing at an Army base until Wednesday. Its a really bizzare thing to do at this stage of the season and it means they've only had 2 days of proper preparation for this game. Walsall haven't won away since Boxing Day... I don't think it's bizarre at all, I think it's a great idea.Given that it's still a pretty new group working on the relational side of building a team is really important. And I don't think they will have ignored the fact they are playing today either.

Two changes to the side that played Blackpool last weekend: Gino starts in place of James Henry and Jon Obika comes in for Wes Thomas.

Quite an aggressive line up.
From reports on here Henry was best player last week.

Not even a place on the bench for Mehmeti, unless he's injured it's odd especially at home and when we might need him.

Henry not even on the bench? Interesting. He is on the bench OK. I was sure Jerome just said he wasn’t. Maybe he’s not at the game today.

Looking forward to seeing Gino start. Thought he looked good previously and although I wasn't at Blackpool Henry seems to be the weak link so far.

Henry best of bad bunch at Blackpool doesn't really mean much though. Good to see Pep try another option this week. Gino may not work out as starter but I'm glad he has a chance today. Just needs to pass more and track back.

One of Walsall’s players looks about an inch shorter than Jack Payne.

One of Walsall’s players looks about an inch shorter than Jack Payne. It's the wee fellah of Turkish/Cypriot extraction. Actually supposed to be their talisman.

Gino gives us something to play the ball into his pace gives us another threat. Also playing a short corner doesn't seem to help much. All we end up with is the ball three yards closer but a defender three feet away making it difficult to get a better cross in than the original corner opportunity.
