I put on here when rothwell was going to sign so i will predict a signing from where we gained some new friends from our cup runs.

Is Gorgeous George actually out of contract!?!? No, he signed a new two year deal last summer. A big chunk of that list is wrong.

Or both, we need a natural right winger and a striker.

The names that stand out to me on that list from watching them this year.. as would add a lot to a squad maybe a bit out of our range but amari bell left back for fleet wood is quality and Gary Madine is the perfect lone striker played brilliantly against us at home this year.

I thought Steve Morison signed a new contract for Milwall last week?

Ricky Miller. Scored another hat trick today might be a bit old but could be worth a punt.

I thought Steve Morison signed a new contract for Milwall last week? That list was published in March so it isn't completely true.

Shows money is there to be spent by some, good signing, shows intent.

Shows money is there to be spent by some, good signing, shows intent. Not too sure about that - to compensate MK have released Darren Potter and Dean Bowditch who would have been on decent wages.

John Akinde for me - just scored again! My worry is all akinde's goals are at a much lower level, when he has gone higher , he's done nothing Bristol city 16 games 1 goal Brentford 2 games 0 goals Bristol rovers 14 games 0 goals Pompey 11 games 0 goals

Also I heard from a guy in the pub we were definitely going to sign someone this summer.... I don't claim to be in the know but that same person told me we would sign someone last season and the season before so he has 100% record so far.

I expect he works for the club - nice to have an insider feeding us info.

Mendes-Laing from Rochdale - exciting winger, who seems to create a few goals (that's only from watching goals programme on channel 5 mind you)

Lets wait until we see if we have a new owner or manager before we raise or lower our expectations of players coming in, could be an interesting few months all round.

He set up the equalizer for Dale with another great run and pass. He's still only 25.

Lets wait until we see if we have a new owner or manager before we raise or lower our expectations of players coming in, could be an interesting few months all round. I'm not in the know but I get the feeling that Appleton is putting a little bit of pressure Eales. Mapp is very diplomatic in his interviews but also quite clever. Budget, Pitch And Training Facilities are all very important to Appleton. Reference is often made to a competitive budget in what will be a very competitive league next season, probably more difficult than this season. As far as budgets go we'll be competing with Wigan, Rotherham and Birmingham/Blackburn as well as Plymouth, Portsmouth, B Rovers, MK Dons plus whoever doesn't get promoted from the play offs. A top ten budget is not guaranteed. Mapp is obviously not happy with the state of the pitch, it was mentioned again today. Decent training facilities are also high on Appleton's list of priorities, I'm not sure of the current situation but seem to remember that there is a period of time from when we leave BMW until Court Place Farm is ready, not Ideal. In my view if the club wish to retain Appleton all these issues need to be resolved to his liking.
