Heard good things about Jamie Thomas, who has just been released by Bolton. Rob Hall has also been released. I wonder if Wilder is more likely to try and get him for the Blades. As we know, he likes to sign familiar players and it would mean he can stay up north if he has settled there at all. Was a great player for us - no idea if he's on Mapp/the scouting network's radar.

Rob Hall is not the same player we had 4/5 seasons ago a promising young lad with a bags of potential at the time has gone backwards in development, I knew at Bolton they didn't rate him so sent him out on loan & that's saying something with some of the sh:t they had at the club

If he is any good like he was when he was with us I would be tempted. Same with Forster Caskey Brighton sent him out on loan as well.

Family of Bolton fans I know really don't rate Hall, they've said from the start they don't think he looks anywhere near good enough, although that was at Championship level. Not sure how he did at MK performance-wise last season. He only scored 2 in 32 appearances. He also did is ACL a couple of weeks ago so is out until the end of the year. I'd rather we keep away tbh

Not sure it qualifies as a rumour but I was talking to some Brizzle fans yesterday and they seemed convinced that we would not be offering Hylton and Mullins new contracts as MApp has already spoken to a 'dozen better players'. Their logic was that if we wanted to keep them we would have tied them down by now, if only for a year. They expect both to be snapped up by other L2 clubs this week so we'll soon know if they were correct or not. I assume this is guesswork on their part?

If Plymouth don't go up Carey would be worth an investment

If Plymouth don't go up Carey would be worth an investment I thought he looked a bit slow. Could whip in a dead ball, but against poor Pompey team he didn't stand out massively.

I can understand Mullins maybe leaving because of the emergence of Dunkley and Mullins wanting first team football. There may be some truth in Hylton moving on. Much as I like him and he has done better second half of the season, MAPP more than likely is reshaping the squad for the more rigorous challenges of L1. I can see as many as seven players coming in and perhaps four going. Slocombe must be nailed on to go. There could well be a big money offer for one of our better players, freeing up cash for new players. Interesting close season and at least we're not still wondering if we are in L1 or L2 next season.

If Plymouth don't go up Carey would be worth an investment If we sign Maguire we wouldn't need Carey, they are too similar IMO.
