BBC don't mention Kenny... "A super flowing move involving teenagers Tom Davies and Kieran Dowell ends in Kevin Mirallas tapping home from six yards." Here is the goal: streamable.com/2tzzBBC Sport: 16:07 Jose who? David Unsworth might have a chance of beating Mourinho to the Everton job if this carries on. Great work from youngsters Kieran Dowell and Jonjoe Kenny, the latter squaring across the Norwich box for Kevin Mirallas to smash in the third. Goodison Park finally having something to cheer about this season.

I'm afraid that will mean we won't see Jonjoe back. Good luck to the lad, what a season he has had! Does reinforce Mapps hand when it comes to attracting new players though. And, as has been mentioned, other clubs will trust us to develop their youngsters. Just hope we don't end up getting shafted by untimely recalls, always a drawback with loans.

Buzzing for the lad to get promotion with us and then make his debut for Everton on last game of season

I'm afraid that will mean we won't see Jonjoe back. Not really. Is he going to be starting next season ahead of someone else or warming the bench or reserves..? He knows he can get regular first team football here and has said he would love to come back. It would only improve him as a player and could go back and really push for a stating place.

Still think we'll get him back; Coleman, Browning, Pennington and Hibbert are all above him in the pecking order. Unsworth might even be so impressed with how he's come on since joining us that he wouldn't need to think twice about sending him back here. He might even try initiating it.

Premier League clubs like to give youngsters débuts towards the end of the season, so he won't be a regular for Everton next season. It's more than likely he'll be going out on loan again. Some Championship clubs may come for him, but Kenny's also gone on record saying he would be up for a return to us.

“It is a great start to my career.
“I can take these memories and experience back with me and I would love to come back again, but we will have to see what happens.
“Everton is my first club and obviously I want to play for their first team, but to come here has been brilliant.
“The lads are the best bunch I have been with, so it is a great club and it is only going to go up.”

Regarding Championship clubs, Everton were happy for him to come to us after starting the season a division above. They'll do what they think is best for him, not just send him to the highest level they possibly can.

True, but u see it quite often, that once u prove ur self the parent club try and test u at a higher level next. The Wigan loan was a bit weird as he was doing well and they wanted to keep him.

He will, but like with Graham I think he's done enough to be playing higher than us. Guarantied start every week might push it in our favour over a championship were he may be back up or rotated. For me it would need to be a season long loan with no recall. Don't wanna be in a baldock position again of having to replace a regular half way through.

I'll be majorly surprised if jonjoe is going out on loan next season after that performance.

Another important point is that he didn't look out of place alongside Premiership footballers. Just because we're playing in a higher division next season, it doesn't mean we should be scared of playing some of our youth. As long as they are surrounded by good players, they will be fine.

Another on the long list of hits by the scouting network. Can't wait to see what we got lined up

It would be a real bonus if you are proved right however, I would prefer to see us sign a player rather than repeat the experience of Baldock. That nearly cost us dear. The change of management at Everton will possibly change prospects, let's see what happens.

I'm just worried that when that clown Stones gets sold, Kenny will recommend Dunks as a replacement.

He might have taken on board what John Lundstram said about his various loans that ultimately stopped his development at Everton. Iirc Lundstram said going to various clubs and not being able to settle properly hindered his development and didn't help make an impression back at Everton for him. Knowing that he can settle and has friends at Oxford may well help him in the long run. As an aside, chuffed he played and did well today.

Happy for the lad, and happy for us as we show that young players are look after when they play for us. If they want him to go out on loan next season, I'd hope if we are light there, that we could sign him on again.

The interesting name in that squad is Luke Southwood, he plays for Reading but hails from from Carterton. Another good player we've missed out on.

Absolutely chuffed and gutted in the same measure. Chuffed for JonJoe for getting his chance for Everton and doing really well. But extremely gutted as it will probably mean that we won't have chance of getting back.

I think it is brilliant that we have improved all of the young players we have had. Even at L1 level, we are never going to hang on to all the loanees we get - but the clubs higher up the pyramid will have noticed what is happening and will be all the more willing to lend us their most promising young players on a long term basis.
