Any update on when the Oxvox Priory survey will be ready & circulated? Discussed yesterday Sarge on our Email Group. Basically Maurice Earp and Andy Wilmer are heading this up, the survey has been prepared and is being added to by an independent third party. The survey will go to ALL OXVOX members and open to our wider fanbase. It will be promoted on this and other forums and on our website. Within a week would be my guess.

Will the official site carry a link?

Will the official site carry a link? Yes definitely. I really want this survey open to every single Oxford United supporter and not just OxVox members. It impacts on a lot of people and it is preventing 'some' fans from coming to games.

cheers for the info Brahma' As BB says, it's currently being looked over for us: by a member who works for IPSOS to make sure we're putting the questions in a neutral way. Sarge, given your particular interest in this, if you would like to take a look at the draft as it stands, PM me. We'd appreciate your input. Cheers, Matt

The survey is now launched, and sent round to OxVox members. Thanks to everyone who helped do this. Please do complete it here: www.surveymonkey.com/s/PRZFDC3And pass this on to other United fans. We are keen to get as many supporters as possible doing so. Cheers! Matt

However, Firoka do not own the building as per the preamble - that honour belongs to OCC.......

Done. Will a link be on the club site today? beat me to asking that Q by a few mins also ...as well the the 'usual' media outlets...bbc oxford LOCAL online newsite is up n running (since late March) .... how about getting BBC Oxford/South( Jerome Sale ? ) AND Fred Drainage ( pompey fan!!!) at ITV Meridian on the Priory 'campaign' too.... local story both the state the Priory has been allowed to degenerate into AND of course the 'out now' Oxvox Priory survey too over to the oxvox PR machine for that then

Done. However, Firoka do not own the building as per the preamble - that honour belongs to OCC....... Thanks, error now corrected! On PR, obviously that's down to the Club/media whether they will pick this up, but we are asking them to. If YF members have networks/contacts they can use, please do so. Cheers, Matt

Cheers, Matt hasnt Oxvox got a PR dept/ person/persons then ? ( yeah Im a member but dont really know all the mechanisms of the set up/committe etc) lets hope the club/ media DO pick up on it....though methinks an Oxvox press release to go with the survey may help let the club and media actually know about it

And here we go: www.oufc.co.uk/news/article/00140514-oxvox-survey-1552530.aspxThanks to Gerald for supporting this and to Martin for putting it online. Another example of the club taking seriously fans views. Onwards to tmrw where there will be a story on the Yellow Army asking for fan involvement on another matter. Then with a bit of luck either next week or the last week of May OxVox will have another good news story.

hows the Oxvox Priory survey going?
anyone else wondering if the 'official' OUFC fan survey has its questions slanted in such a way to make the Oxvox Priory survey results 'meaningless'? are 'we' being cornered into what certain individuals in OUFC Admin THINK is what supporters should want?
... Im cynically suspicious giving the timing of the official OUFC fan survey being issued!!!

Equally though the club know they can't afford to run the Priory, so don't want to give the fans that impression.

Equally though the club know they can't afford to run the Priory, so don't want to give the fans that impression. maybe, well almost definately not on their own ...the club that is ....BUT, with a reduced & realistic rent, and perhaps as a co-operative venture with our eggchasing cockney-taff groundsharers, the Priory COULD be a viable matchday ( & pre/post awayday ...for both OUFC & LW) meeting place/watering hole/ supporters club venture? ...... hence wondering how the Oxvox Priory survey was progressing?

Post by Gary Baldi on Jun 2, 2014 13:15:53 GMT
I agree. But I can be confident in saying that the club don't want the responsibility of the Priory.
But I do hope there is a solution somewhere as the building needs to maintained properly and clearly Firoka don't see it is as a priority.

OXVOX SURVEY UPDATE:
We had our committee meeting last week and we discussed the progress of our Priory Survey which was sent to members and put on the club website. To date we have had over 500 responses to the survey. At the meeting we decided we would take another week to allow for late replies to come through.
Are people happy for the survey results to be based on that or would people like us to spend more time promoting this and pushing it further. 500 is a decent snapshot of our fanbase.

Thanks for the update Brahmabull..... personally Id like it to be given a couple more weeks, perhaps letting radox/bbc oxford TV/ BBC oxford local news website, itv meridian and the Oxford Mail know about it too via a press release, then that may generate a significant amount of replies more ? mind you over 500 responses from a limited circulation is fairly good Id say
