It's a good idea to have it against Northampton, they'll bring close to a thousand so it'll all add to the atmosphere. You're more motivated to sing against good numbers of away fans as opposed to a load of empty blue seats! What's the Northampton reaction been like? Booked the day of work so will be taking advantage of Tim's superb offer.

I imagine Northampton fans will pick up on this soon, and will want to come to the game in big numbers to be part of the atmosphere.
Thank you for all the support so far. Things are going well, and we will continue to work on this to make it the best day possible. Im hoping to have flyers up inside the ground this week, and in the Priory to. Then after the Torquay game, we will then step things up in the build up to the game. If you are able to get tickets early, that would be great,

Change of plan for me was meant to be going to a gig in London with my cousin but we've decided to organise a meet up of a few old mates in Oxford, I'm not sure if they'll all be into it but We could have two Wolves fans one Spurs and one Arsenal with us for the day!

My cousin is Spurs his mate is Arsenal (I don't think they understand the concept of rivalry) we were all living in NW London and we became friendly with two Wolves lads who were living and working down there, all good old boys!

Great news Tim, that's great. Myself and I'm sure everyone else really appreciates it.
I'm waiting to hear back from the club to see if I can put some posters up in the concourses and outside the ticket office.

Thank you Tim.
I'd like to put on record, my appreciation to Tim for his support for Ultimate Support Saturday. Not just this year, but last year as well. This is only a success if fans get behind it and back the effort that goes into making it a great atmosphere and attendance. Tim has done more than I could have asked for, and I hope everyone will go to the Priory to buy a drink and some food, and support the best landlord in the world (according to all of us and Carlsberg). Other fans have got in touch and offered support, which is great, and really helpful. If anyone else would like to support it and get involved, please pm me. A few have already, and different supporters offer different ideas, help and support. So please get in touch
If anyone can help distribute posters or flyers, at work, the pub, school or college, or a reception somewhere, then pm me and I will arrange delivery over to you. Or download it at the top of the thread, and help spread the word.
Thank you.

These days help us so much joe, 16 weeks without football in the summer leaves us in a desperate state come aug, and with the team struggling the crowds/takings have dived to a point where we will have to take some action after the Northampton game, ie raise the prices to the level of the other licensed premises on the ozone and issue our lot loyalty cards to keep their expense here at the same level as it is now, thank god we had the rugby else curtains , you can all see how quiet it is an hour before kick off here, we have the winter months to deal with now, its not desperate but worrying....

Good work as ever John Lennon!
We saw the affect that fans can have on a match at the home game with Wimbledon. I would like us to be able to consistently create a match winning atmosphere, that inspires the team to go that bit further and give us a competitive advantage.
I hope days like this can be a catalyst for something a bit more ingrained and long term. Thanks for thanking me for the name, but really all credit goes to you and all involved in actually doing something to improve the atmosphere, and do our best to help the team get back to consistent winning ways.
Apathy stinks, and criticism without constructive advice is worse. I admire your enthusiasm and hope everyone else can do their bit to make this and all subsequent match days are events to remember!

Fair play to all the people involved in organizing this event. Special shout out to JL, L&P and Tim from the Priory for all the hard work, time and money spent on getting this off the ground.
Despite the team not giving us much to feel good about this season, I for one feel proud to support a club with such great fans.
Much respect!

Thank you for the kind words. Its hard work, but we are determined to make this successful, to give our fans a really enjoyable day, and hopefully it will lead to better atmospheres in the games after Northampton.
Tomorrow against Torquay, you will see Ultimate Support Saturday posters around the Priory and all over the ground. The club have been supportive, and have let us have space for 15 big posters around the concourses in the ground. Look out for them tomorrow. We feel this is a great way to spread the word about what we have organised, and will help gain momentum.
The cost of getting these posters done is 150. I feel its worth doing, and have worked hard today to get them printed and up to the stadium. The cost is a bit beyond what i can afford, so if any supporters wish to contribute towards the posters, or other costs to make Ultimate Support Saturday a success, then you can do so via paypal, to the email address ussoufc@mail.com Anything will help, so i will be grateful for any donations.
Thank you to all those who are behind Ultimate Support Saturday. Feel free to PM me at anytime if you have ideas or want to get involved. This is our day.

Are you sure you've thought this through properly? You must remember the reaction your fans gave when it all went horribly wrong for you at our last meeting. I'd hate for The Cobblers to be responsible for any confrontation between your fans and stewards. We're doing well lately so if there's time I would suggest picking a game where you have more of a chance of getting a result.

What were you thinking of?

Will your fans turn up in numbers, or shall I organise them to? And for the record, I think you have decent supporters who can create an atmosphere. I'd guess the majority will think you lack maturity.

Our fans will turn up irrespective if you or I organise anything and will create the best possible atmosphere in a ground with a stand missing. It's the maturity of your fans that are giving me cause for concern and for the record if they cause a rumpus (©Bill Hicks) I don't want anyone to think this ill-timed promotion was responsible.

With the tiniest possible morsel of respect, what the f*ck has it got to do with you? We need to boost support for this particular fixture because it's likely to be one of the dullest of the season. And if you think there's been trouble at an Oxford v Northampton game recently, you're clearly too young to know what trouble is. The only people trying to cause trouble last season were TVP.

Correction, YH. It was the Northampton stewarding that caused all the problems. Hopefully they've learned how to manage a crowd by the time we visit again....

Forget this wind up merchant, he isn't capable of thinking up anything to help his club, let alone organising it. Let's keep this thread to promoting and organising a successful day.

Be fair, I only raised the concern you might lose as we are on good form right now and I'd hate us to spoil it all for you. You need to speak to junior about the matchbox insult. Come on, let's face it it's going to be great day whatever we put on here UTC!
