With nearly all of the play-off contenders at home today and playing teams below them in the table we could do with some surprises. All but one game will have an effect on the points between us and those above us. Hopefully the teams highlighted in red can get a result but lots of wishful thinking here:
Cheltenham v Lincoln City Crewe v Bradford Gillingham v Chesterfield Port Vale v Barnet Southend v Macclesfield
I'm not so sure about this one but probably a Stevenage win is best for us as it will keep the third auto promotion space within reach:
Stevenage v Rotherham
A Hereford victory will ensure that Morecambe remain well behind whatever our result:
Hereford v Morecambe

Yep more chance of Bob Hope turning up and doing a gig at the Kassam stadium tonight than all of those games working out perfectly. I wonder what odds I would get for all of the red teams winning?

We need to win ourselves and not hope what happens elsewhere. The outcome is in our hands so do not depend on others. We just need to keep winning and ignore the rest,

3points and a clean sheet would be the best result tonite- I'll take a home win anywhich way it arrives

We need to win ourselves and not hope what happens elsewhere. The outcome is in our hands so do not depend on others. We just need to keep winning and ignore the rest, The problem with that is that every team has to rely on others dropping points, as no one wins every game. So of course we want to win... and to have other play-off contenders dropping points is the ideal.

4 and a half out of 7 isn't too bad, just a shame Crewe won.

4 and a half out of 7 isn't too bad, just a shame Crewe won. Five and a half out of eight really because I did not include our game in the original list. Even with my best wishful thinking I would not have predicted that! A very good night all round!
