Is it willingness to change and evolve or being stubborn and dictatorial?
CW is doing a good job so far. He has riden the storm of the two p[eriods of poor form, firstky last season and now this. I want him to stay for the long term.

Ruthlessness - Wilder has it in abundance. No player is safe.

Perhaps what makes a good manager depends on the club and the situation.

Three things - a Scottish accent, an attitude problem and a healthy liking for the malt.

Other than a ruthless streak (well done Baldy), someone who is focused and determined and not prepared to be influenced by forum criticism.
Also to be loved and appreciated by supporters helps. To that end......I have 800 Wilder masks available.........

Some people really do get carried away.....oh well.

A good manager makes small improvements on a daily basis, makes the team his priority, is honest, consistent and headstrong. He only takes advice from the right people, and leads by example. He should have the ability to do the unexpected and shock a few and should be animated at the right times. He should be able to portray clear instructions with such a confidence that everyone buys into it immediately.
I would imagine it's not an easy job!
