The first installment of the Fans Questions is on Yellow Player:-
Its worth a view but a few interesting points:-
Earlybird ST offer due to be announced very soon with price freeze/small increase re VAT likely.
Corporate season tickets to become available.
Confirmed that the club has no debt to banks/HMRC with all debt being "soft" and the aim to convert this to the "ownership group". Some of the other soft debt has already been repaid.
Anticipated profit in the region of £100-£150k this season.
This is an excellent way of communicating and I hope this becomes an ongoing weekly (or monthly) process where we can seek answers to questions in an open environment for everyone to see.

I thought at the last meeting that the projected profit was in the region of £250k. Any reasons for the reduction?? The gates have been well above the break even figures.

The gates have been well above the break even figures. Depends which break even figures you're referring to. Any profit, even if it's around £100,000 rather than the pre-season estimate of £250,000, is a big achievement in this day and age. Especially for a club that doesn't have the revenue streams that most others do with regards to the stadium.

No reasons given and KT was a little vague about the exact figure. This was roughly what I was expecting though with crowds averaging 800 above the break even figure of 6300. I use an average ticket price of £11 (ex VAT) so that equates to just over £200k profit. I guess expenditure is up a little over the forecast but £50k leeway on £4M turnover is not bad really. I always felt that £250k was optomistic. Hopefully the final figures will be better if the play-off push is maintained.
