It's good for highlights and interviews, but highly unreliable for the matches from my experience. Did I read that all the money goes to the club, so that's one good thing.

I don't know, but I doubt ALL the money goes to the club, would be interesting to see how much the club does get. If it wasn't so unreliable on Match days, I'd probably get it.

I think but am not sure that the company which runs all the football league sites is 50% owned by the league. And it is compulsory to join when you are in the league. No idea how much of any subscription goes to The club though.

Out of the £34.99 for a season subscription the club gets roughly £18, so just over half of the fee. Unless it's changed since I left nearly 3 months ago.
Not every club has joined up after being in the league. Aldershot and Accrington for example didn't join when they were promoted, but most do because of the revenue figures they throw at you.

Can anyone else get in yet? The site is still saying its a free 14 day trial but as soon as you try and view anything it asks you to log in/sign up.

Could Jake Wright have been any less interested than in the interview he did a few days ago?
Quality has gone downhill a bit recently. No more videos in the last week or so than there were a few months ago but less players are featuring. Steve Maclean must be doing 50% of them nowadays and I notice that the players who feature on Yellow Player often end up doing basically the same interview on Radio Ox and JACK in the run-up to match coverage. At the start of the season there would sometimes be 4 or 5 players interviewed in a week some of which were relevant to the individual games ie. they had personal history with the opposition clubs through playing for them in the past. Now it just seems to be a case of grab whoever is in the stadium and try to fill three or four minutes by any means necessary.
Overall I'm not sure Player is offering an awful lot to supporters who don't just need it for the match commentary. I originally bought it last season because home match highlights used to be available by the time I'd got home and had my tea. Renewed in the summer but obviously that's no longer the case because of being back in the League so am waiting for something new and worthwhile to actually give me something from the service. As it is I don't want to carry on paying for interviews I can hear on the radio or read on the Oxford Mail website for free the majority of the time.
