Failure once again to properly protect the pitch from frost could cost us dearly in the race for a play off spot. We always seem to falter when we have an enforced break due to weather conditions and this is the time of year (and this the type of game) we need to complete and win games. A fixtures backlog willalso not help us, especially if we get further injuries.
So well done, Mr Kassam, another fine mess you've gotten us into.

Why would there be a fixtures backlog? It's the only game of the season to be called off and we are out of the cups, it'll be easy to fit in. It's nobody's fault, its just that bloody cold! Chill. (Pun intended).

If we are good enough we will be in the playoffs. Let's not blame kassam or the pitch.

Bloody hell I hate Kassam as much as anyone but even if he ate my dogs I could not blame him for this one. How many games were played today?

If anything it may be a good thing as it lets the two new players to settle in.

Shows the level of hatred for the man when we blame him for the weather!!
I'd go as far as to say that the match being off did us a favour. More time for the new players to train, Barnet on form, and most likely a better attendance mid-week when the weather improves.
Even if the game had been on I'd argue that plenty of people would have stayed at home, including Barnet fans.

I got a puncture this week. I drove past the Kassam Stadium on the same day I got the puncture. Coincidence? I think not.
Kassam owes me a new tyre as far as i'm concerned...

If your club wanted the match on that badly they would have put measures in place and do all they could to get it on, instead of call it off at the first hurdle.

Our club don't throw money away when something is inevitable. That heated dome worked so well. Maybe your chairman should watch a weather forecast

What I don't get is if we are, indeed, 'forever in your shadow' then surely that implies there's permanent sunlight on Swindon? So why wasn't it warm enough to get your game on?

I'd wager that if he turned up at the skip carrying a turnip, he'd be shown into the disabled section, with the steward assuming the turnip is the PA ;D Oink Oink COYY

Bloody hell
Even I wouldnt blame Kassam for this
At least we are covering the whole pitch these days with covers that protect to -5 or so, if it hits -11 you got no chance
As for the scum spending money on the heaters that did'nt get the game on, yes I laughed at that, but then remembered it happening to us before, but I dont think we spent 10k.

That 10k spent on heating and the game still getting called off was just throwing money away and if i were you i would defo be worried that somewhere down the line this has all got to be paid back. When it all goes to shit and your club faces the nightmare scenario and you all start bleating about how its so unfair you can do one. This cavalier attitude of not taking care of the pennies is going to turn around and bite you hard make no mistake and when it does you will only have yourselves to blame. If your club wanted the match on that badly they would have put measures in place and do all they could to get it on, instead of call it off at the first hurdle. This is correct, Wilder felt we would be vulnerable playing against a team that plays horrible football in the freezing cold conditions hence the early postponement and the fact we didn't even pump the heaters on all week. He's probably right! Tactical. -Still, can we blame Kasssam anyway please?
