My point is we make so many chances and miss why do other teams we play create one stockport score , southend three score two us sixteen chances bradford score two,Yes they all need to score midfield included , look how many shots the midfield have rarely on target,Maybe they all need a bit of shooting practice.

Most teams have one, two or even three attacking players that don't score, just create. Maclean is one of those for us, and the most important one, that's what I take issue with when you say he isn't as good as he's made out to be because he doesn't score.
The midfield might need more goals, but we still score enough. Yes, some teams have been clinical, but if you think about how many times wright/worley/clarke have been to our rescue, it's not like every team we faced has had one chance and one goal.

Wright and worley are there to defend, stop the chances, i am saying look at how many shots we actually have at goal and miss

I did not question his capabilities, all i am saying is he needs to put the ball in the net , get the crowd going give the team confidence,

All managers have there own thoughts on how to play we need to adapt, we are too predictable. We all want the team to play well and win we have played too many games already playing pretty football and lost.We need to be more clinical in front of goal. Okay Mclean makes chances what if he doesnt play? He needs to score along with other players who keep missing or are afraid to shoot. Lets hope he reads this forum and proves me wrong tonight and scores.

Craddock will be top scorer this season - but only by a couple of goals. I think both him and Beano will get 20+

We need to be more clinical at the back if anything. If we could keep a clean sheet we would have won the Northampton game and even if the second of their goals, which was less due to poor defending, had gone in, we would still have got a result.

I thought Mclean is highly rated on this forum, are we not expecting him to score a few? If he is as good as claimed maybe he should start knocking the chances in we create enough. Throughout his career he has rarely been a prolific goalscorer and has averaged one goal in every three games but only 5 goals in 48 games for Plymouth. His best was 23 goals in 42 games for Scunthorpe. I reckon he will end up on about on 8 for us this season but his overall contribution is much more than his goalscoring ability. Beano and Craddock will get another 8 or so each so Beano will end up on 18 league + 2 cup and Craddock will be on 20 league, including 2 at Luton. The others will pick up 10 or so between them.

Tom Craddock will be top scorer this season, with Constable in second 2 or 3 goals behind him.
