When you drive to the ground past Greater Leys along Grenoble Road on match days, does anyone else see the OUFC flag flying on the flagpole in someone's back garden? It brightens up the match day experience, knowing you are nearly at the ground.
Is it anyone from here? It is it there all the time, or just match days?

There is also one in a garden near Blackbird Leys bridge. Yes both are up all the time and have been for some time. There is a third but I can't remember where now. Isn't there also a signed shirt in the chip shop opposite the Blackbird and at Cherwell drive Marston? all good to see.

Ive always thhought it would be nice if all the curbs around the ground and the path over from the Leys could be painted yellow and blue. It's done by both sides in Northern Ireland (and although the intent there is rather dismal) it does look rather catching. www.photographersdirect.com/buyers/stockphoto.asp?imageid=3141580THey also fly flags from the lampposts. This would be a great touch if the stadium company or council would allow it

I am tempted to get one to put in our back garden. There is one just over BBL Bridge (BBL side) but the view has been ruined by a MUFC flag pole popping up beside it.

The high rise flats opposite the Blackbird often has flags hanging from the windows, I have seen England, Jamaica and Portugal, but would look good to see an OUFC when you come out of the Blackbird.

No one else remember the mural of Jim Smith in Headington supermarket car park then? come on in went up in 1986 and was there for years! This is a proper wall mural, recently finished in Belfast. As part of the replacement of paramilitary murals before the un-educated cry foul about it Attachments:

Didn't the Oxford Mail have a massive flag put up along the bridge near Littlemore just after that sainsbury's a few times a couple of years ago? Used to like seeing that on the way to games.

I'm hugely surprised that the council hasn't ordered the flags to be taken down because "someone might be offended".
