Guess that some of the radox crew read the forum so this one is for you.
Couple of weeks ago when yellow player was playing up against Burton some of us had to listen to the Aussie/Burton commentator for a bit, have to admit that even after you guys came back on air i switched back and listened to the rest of the game with the Burton commentator, reason being that the atmosphere from the game sounded so much better, in fact it sounded cracking compared to the settings you guys use, Crisper might be a way of describing it. Would much prefer to listen to your good selves and was wondering if there is something you can do to improve the quality of the crowd sound ? Give it a bit more treble and up the volume just a touch, would really improve what is already a very good service. Thanks.

I always find the best way to experience the crowd noise is to actually be there!(tongue in cheek)
Agree with your POV though mate, maybe they don't want to offend the likes of Psycho Ken? There's always someone in the background guaranteed to F and blind which is often picked up by the mic' as background noise
When we went to Wycombe there was a minutes silence before the game. I asked a steward "Who's died"? he said "No one, we're just trying to get you used to our regular atmosphere"!

I always find the best way to experience the crowd noise is to actually be there!(tongue in cheek) 3rd of March, can`t wait as im gagging for an OUFC fix. Know what you mean, its kinda hard to describe but the atmosphere v Burton was more electric/crisper without hearing any individuals f`ing and blinding, the quality of sound was really a lot better than what we are used to and i think its just down to the settings so should be fairly easy to do. Hint : Maybe someone at radox could contact the Burton lot and ask a question or 2 ? ;D

On other live stuff, don't they use like a delay of a few seconds to 'filter' out any dodgy language? Maybe this could be done for footie.
I know what you're saying, 5 Live always sounds top notch, and even when you know what's being 'sung' in the background, the old sound bloke seems to snuff it out.
I remember watching England one night and the commentators were doing it from a shed in Romford rather than in Croatia (or wherever the game was) you could 'hear' they wern't actually there.
Jerome, this man has a point and has to listen to games, get it sorted mate!
is that a nice part of France you're in mate? work? live full time? Hiding from the law?
Never ceases to impress me where U's fans seem to be across the world. Fair play to you all
Allez U's!!!
