Gate revenue will be well over £2M so with Crawley getting 45% of that less costs they should earn close to £1M from gate receipts plus £248k in TV money for this game. That is a massive payday and I wonder if a non-league club has ever come close to that before?

Possibly close but the Exeter home and away crowds, added together, were about the same as the current Old Trafford capacity and it was 6 years ago.

The money from those two games basically rescued Exeter. Enabled them to be debt free, and for the fans trust to take the club forward, going back into the league, and then into league 1.
