Wenger denied it
You don't like Fabregas do you? You've got something against him....

Right, he's a great player, that there's no doubt...
But, IMO, he's got a nasty streak ( not a bad thing IMO ) should have been carded tonight and the weekend for bad challenges ( the ones aw is keen to condone ) also wait for the moyes quotes in the press tomorrow...

Just read a few comments on BBC site. He does not say what he said but one quick comment.
Moyes said the fact that he did not send him off "changed the flow of the game".
This was a strange comment to me. If Fabregas had nailed one of his players or the ref gives a dodgy pen (or may I say, tongue in cheek, a dodgy offside goal having seen the opening goal and it was unbelievable it was allowed to stand) - that changes the flow of the game.
Not sending someone off for whatever is said to a ref as part of an argument at half time - is just strange as I do not see how it affects his team or the flow of the game.

In recent games Fabregas has got in the face of referees asking for opponents to be carded etc. Not good to see at all.

To be fair, against Huddersfield, the ref didn't send their defender off despite denying a clear goalscoring opportunity, he was the last defender, even though in the same match he sent off Squilacci as he was last defender. Fabregas was simply reminding the ref of his glaring inconsistency

I think it's OK for managers etc to remind refs of that but a player shouldn't go up to refs waving imaginery cards etc to get a fellow player sent off.

He's obviously a bit more cunning than most footballers when it comes to swearing at refs. Most of them run up to the ref swear, grab hold of him, shout at him in the middle of the pitch with cameras recording the whole thing. Then the FA do sweet FA about it. If he has he should be banned. Along with anyone else who abuses the ref. Don't you agree?

I'm in favour of clamping down on this kind of behaviour. Players would soon stop it if they were punished.

I agree. Fabregas has a tendecy toward vicious nastiness but is sufficiently clever to get away with it most of the time. I think his reputation as a flair player, and his propensity to go down easily under a challenge allow him to get away with some quite bad and vindictive fouls too.

I noticed that Moyes has refused to reveal what Fabregas allegedly said to the ref. Funny that.

Wenger claiming of a witch hunt against fabregas now... He may have a point. For someone to come out and say that a fellow professional should be sent off, and then fails to provide the evidence to back up his claims sounds very much like a witch-hunt.
