Just as an idea CLUB. Along with the £1000 or so 50/50 prize money at half time, any chance of a second and separate prize of a couple of tickets into a box for a later game? The latter won't cost the club anything really will it? I'm willing to bet it might well sell some extra tickets, so generating an extra bit of cash directly to the club? OXFORD MAIL, Wouldn't it be far more worthwhile if the spot the fan photo was from an away game? Fans who have traveled to see their team maybe 250 miles away? The 'winner' might well then have his - and perhaps a partner/friend's - day out paid for them as a reward Anyone on the forum in a position to ask one or the other or indeed both if this could be done? Incidentally, my idea of sitting there with a large red circle in case I'm snapped has yet to work!

Agree with you there pal. For an example i went to Barrow on a Tuesday night on a cold wet night for a fa cup replay and there was no more than 100 oxford fans there, That money would of cheerd sumone up after a long trip we turned up to but the players didnt.

Good ideas, particularly regarding away games.

I salute you. I was delivering stuff around Oxfordshire that night and at least had the comfort of the heater if not the result! In a similar vein, I was one of 23 (I think it was that many) who travelled to Sheffield back in the early 80's. Talk about one man and his dog! I think it's the only time in the U's history where the team were given crowd changes! THE ASPREY ERA! Dire Then came Ian Greaves, who is given no credit for turning us around. We took quite a few to Coventry I remember! ;D Like I said I salute you and the other 99, that's why I would be pleased to see our away fans perhaps rewarded

Oh what a night!! I had to get home via the Forest of Dean too! Think we all deserved that money that night!
