Plymouth Argyle are on the verge of bankruptcy, the reason Maclean is at Oxford is that Argyle cant afford him, the players didnt get Novembers pay till early January, they havent been paid this month, the chances of them being paid are next to nil, so the chance to jump ship on deadline day and make a fresh start must be a chance you cant turn down, but no, when some kid called Mason got called in to say Plymouth had accepted a bid from Swindon,he turned them down and his reply was,
PLYMOUTH Argyle striker Joe Mason has revealed he did not find it a difficult decision to turn down the chance of a transfer to Swindon Town.
Mason told The Herald: "To be honest, it wasn't a difficult decision to make
I'm sure Swindon are a really good club, but if I'm going to leave I want to make sure it's the best possible move for me.
"It has got to be worth moving away from Argyle, and from Plymouth, for.
"I know the club needs money badly, but I had to think about myself. At the end of the day, it's my career and I didn't feel it was the right move for me."
So even people who who arnt getting paid dont want to go to the skip!

Sounds like a sensible chap really. Who would swap life on the coast to one of the most boring towns in the universe. Maybe he realises that Swindon are £10M in debt so, if they are relegated, he could be jumping from one fire to another.
