Disappointing and somewhat suprising that we are one of the few clubs that seem to not be participating in this drive to get more people to NPower league games by offering reduced tickets prices to fans collecting tokens
19 of 24 Championship Clubs 23 of 24 League 1 Clubs 16 of 24 League 2 Clubs
are all participating
Disappointing because it can be used at away matches as well as home so there would potentially be a benefit for the travelling Oxford fans

Perhaps our management assumes there aren't enough of our fans who would stoop to buying a rag like the sun for the sake of a cheap ticket, so the offer wouldn't be worthwhile.

A couple of Oxford home games were offered when The Sun first ran the promotion near the start of the season, maybe there was not enough interest?

Maybe the club have decided that the discount generated insufficient sales to justify the low cost publicity for this newspaper. I doubt if the Sun are paying much towards the discount, if anything.
