Promises to be quite a match, City are 8 points clear of their rivals - and if they continue their winning run the 'Noisy neighbours' will have reason perhaps to feel, invincible?

Man City have shown over the last month that they can grind out results against teams who park the bus, even with Aguero not firing on all cylinders.
On the other hand, Man Utd showed their ability to counter attack against Arsenal and were more positive than they've been in many of the big games.
City can afford to draw but Pep will go for the win. Utd need a win but Jose will probably play for a point.
I'll go with a narrow city win!

Without Pogba Man U are much weaker in the midfield and I think that will suit city.
Jose will play for a point which is a dangerous game to play. I am going for 3-1 city.

Yes I reckon Man City although Mourinho is a great coach in these kind of games and has done pretty well against Pep in the past.

Victory against Arsenal, Mourinho’s record against the top 6 has been woeful in recent seasons. His negative tactics have started to come undone - good riddance too to his odious antics and dour football. A couple more disappointing seasons at Man Utd and he might bugger off again.

He never stays long anywhere, but he always waits to get sacked/ get a better offer for the mega bucks pay off, hard to blame him for that with the amounts on offer though. If he doesn't win the league/champions league this season, and PSG don't win the champions league I can see him going, not like they will bulk at paying off his contract. He can be entertaining, not the football, but his antics get old quite quickly especially given we have seen it all before over here. He's a good manager but he's like an elite level Sam Allardyce, has a limited shelf life at any one club.

If Man U want to win the title, they need to win on Sunday. Time for Jose to put the big boy pants on and go to the league leaders and out play them. It's one thing getting at Arsenal who are a soft team, it's another against City who are a multi dimensional team. A park the bus draw just won't do

They are appealing it, so it must have been a fine challenge. In the City of Salford only.

No they aren't. "Paul Pogba will start Manchester United's final Champions League group game against CSKA Moscow before he begins a three-match domestic ban. The midfielder was sent off in Sunday's 3-1 Premier League win at Arsenal. United have decided not to appeal against the red card, meaning the France playmaker will be suspended for the Manchester derby at the weekend"

Don't know if they will or won't, but it sounded deluded to even think it right? Desperate Man U

It's hard to see anything other than a City win in my opinion. The Man U-Arsenal game at the weekend was actually really entertaining. Bit of a surprise, but I really enjoyed it. De Gea is ridiculously good.

Remember when De Gea was slated on here by certain members! He did have a terrible start to his Man U career......but that was one that Baldy called right. Unlike Moyes, Van Gaal, Bebe, Fellaini etc. etc. [as an aside, I just did a quick search to reminisce on Baldy's old N&I posts.....one of his last comments before getting banned was this - "Another couple of average players I can think of are Williamson at Newcastle and Tomkins at West Ham. These are players that will carve out very good careers for themselves but, on another day, could have found themselves plying their trade in the Championship. They've had the breaks and really made the most of their opportunity and limited talent." I'm sure Oxford's bench three years later was exactly what he had in mind with that comment!]

Remember when De Gea was slated on here by certain members! Don't play the old Man Utd cards, I've just started agreeing with a lot of what you post on here!!! And yes De Gea was awful when he started and could get bullied far too easily. But he has been world class for a few years now and often without great support in front of him. As always, keeping him from a move to Spain is more important than anyone they're looking to buy in the summer. Anyway, how do you see the derby going, purely as someone impartial that is?!
