1. Not knowing how I feel about the manager 2. Not hearing from the chairman now that things aren't going so smoothly. 3. A complete lack of marketing and desire to sell to the club to oxfordshire 4. The absence of scrutiny from the local media on a dodgy looking emerging takeover 5. A surprising silence from a very capable Oxvox group. Membership numbers are irrelevant if you're not voicing concerns and echoing the answers back to the fans at times like this 6. The machinations of a lurking mafia sitting in the underbelly of this forum with pretensions of power 7. The end of a very successful scouting and acquisition strategy for a haphazard blow your budget europop pick and mix 8. The emerging "there's always next season" mentality 9. Great Uncle Kip 10. That stupid f*cking stadium 11. Not winning EVERY SINGLE MATCH. 12. The whole team not having Legos passion 13. People giving the ultras crap when they're trying to improve thingame 14. 1. Not knowing how I feel about the manager Yep. I want to love him, but it's getting more difficult.
2. Not hearing from the chairman now that things aren't going so smoothly. Very frustrating. We all know he's looking to sell us, but still.3. A complete lack of marketing and desire to sell to the club to oxfordshire I've only bought tickets online once from MK Dons, but I still get marketing messages from them on a regular basis. Anyone whose ever bought an OUFC ticket online should be bombarded at every opportunity.4. The absence of scrutiny from the local media on a dodgy looking emerging takeover That is rather strange for media organisations. You'd think they'd be digging for dirt.5. A surprising silence from a very capable Oxvox group. Membership numbers are irrelevant if you're not voicing concerns and echoing the answers back to the fans at times like this Hmmm .... I disagree with you and Myles on this. I think it's responsible for OxVox not to comment until a firm bid is made. If that bid comes from Tiger, I would expect a torrent of questions very rapidly, but for now I've no complaints.6. The machinations of a lurking mafia sitting in the underbelly of this forum with pretensions of power Who on earth can you mean? 7. The end of a very successful scouting and acquisition strategy for a haphazard blow your budget europop pick and mix Again, very frustrating.8. The emerging "there's always next season" mentality And I'm not convinced next season will see us in L1 at this rate.9. Great Uncle Kip Who?10. That stupid f*cking stadium An unloved dump. Nothing to be proud of in respect of the Kassam.
11. Not winning EVERY SINGLE MATCH. 12. The whole team not having Legos passion Sounds as if they've been mostly disinterested over the past few games. Sort it out Pep.13. People giving the ultras crap when they're trying to improve thingame Agreed.14. People starting their own thread to start a list of subjective, Ill thought out, unsubstantiated, personal grievances just after a loss I too hate those knee-jerkers.

Yes i was there Jerome. I saw it with my own eyes. We're a poor team. Even the fabled passing that i was expecting to lead me to near orgasm failed to materialise. Worrying times.

And indeed Jerome was there too. And his facial expression as I walked past him to leave the ground said more than the words he uttered in his broadcast. But there are certain words that are not acceptable on the radio, particularly before the watershed. Perhaps there should be a phone in at say midnight when people have had more than a few beers and the attitude to language is rather more relaxed than normal? That could be entertaining. Or carnage.

For clarity I think it's an excellent oxvox committee particularly Colin and jem. The takeover is a tricky one. My issue is the rudderless nature of Eales not being questioned

He was at the game and left quickly after the defeat.
I have met Darryl a couple of times and yeah he is a nice guy, I believe he wants to do what is best for the club, but only under his conditions first and then the club. He made an investments wants profit and will pull out, business is business, he doesn't bleed yellow like us and unfortunately that's the way it is with most investors. Tbh I think he will be gone by the end of Jan, and then who knows what the new owners will be like. Also any new investor would want to bring their new management team in, Like DE did with replacing Waddock with Apples, so also think Pep will be gone and the rebuilding will start again. I just hope we will rebuild in L1

I just hope we will rebuild in L1 I've never met Darryl and I've never had a free hotdog either. As another poster said it feels as if DE checked out of the club 'emotionally' some time ago. Under his stewardship with Appleton running the playing side we've had an exciting and successful time, it's been a joy to watch the likes of Roofe, Maguire, Lundstram, Johnson, plus a promotion and 2 Wembley appearances. However we are now drifting rudderless back to League 2 if we're not careful. There's a chance that DE will leave us in the same position that he took over. It's the owners prerogative to sell the club to who he wishes, we as life long supporters can only hope that he sells with the best interests of the club at heart, to someone who has integrity, leadership skills, ambition, and a vision . They will also need deep pockets too.

The marketing has become a joke this season. During the Appleton days I would always get emails advertising games (even the tinpot trophy) now - there is nothing at all. It's a competitive market!
We are the only professional club in Oxfordshire - there's a huge market out there to exploit.
If this is to do with the takeover, let's please get it done and soon.

I must admit, I'm getting worried about our present form. This 'will we be taken over, won't we be taken over by new investors', is totally pissing me off. It's better to be p*ssed off, than p*ssed on, though.

Bored you say!? I didn't get where I am today by being bored. You need a pair of stout brogues and a brisk walk. And if this doesn't have the desired effect, you just get yourself down to a purveyor of spectacles and purchase a pair, preferably with a rosey tint to them!
