Thanks, Paul.
I always find your sleuthing about the other team's finances to be very interesting, so am pleased you're keeping it going.
Your comments on the game were, as ever, insightful. Now I get to watch the games (with the audio a few seconds behind, gradually catching up, until it's just in front by the end of the game...thanks iFollow) I have to say that I agree with you. That makes me insightful as well. Brilliant, eh?
Thanks,
Jon

I would like to second that - I find the financial and ownership profile of our opponents extremely interesting being well researched and coherently written. Please do continue!

Agree with the others. I find the financial information interesting.
I note that in Pep's interview after the game he suggested that Charlton was a big club and had a large budget.
Agree totally with you about Ribeiro's interview. Intelligent and very enthusiastic. Mousinho and Williamson also seemed to be intelligent and articulate in interviews earlier this season.
Like you I was disappointed with the number of home supporters. The games against Bradford, Charlton and Shrewsbury in my view have been very good, tense football games between very good sides.
We have hammered Pompey, Wimbledon and Gillingham. The only home game where we have been poor was Walsall. So our home football and the games in my view have been the best for many many years.

Me too re: financial and ownership information, especially as you try to distill it into plain english. No easy task. There is some fascinating stuff in there its really starting to paint a picture of the landscape we are operating in.
If it bores others you could just put it at the end rather than the start?

Do you have time for a job or anything besides OUFC? - what with going to matches, planning away trips, writing these reports.

But believe it or not I do have interests outside of OUFC.

I’m happy with the financial info anywhere as I find it interesting. Not sure where you sit but as a regular attendee I generally tend to concur with your match analyses so we must see things in a similar way. Just one other thought on the Eastwood / Nelson cockup. Eastwood cleared the ball from the edge of his area and was moving back to his goal when the ball came back pretty quickly from the monster header. I think Eastwood’s starting position may have been too deep which is why he struggled to get to the ball quicker. Perhaps we should ask him!

It was a Tuesday night. I think it was absolutely fine considering attendances at football in general, and our catchment area. I think criticism of the attendance figures is misplaced (crucial part of this is the 'I think' bit before the insults flow my way). A few more home games of good performances and I'm sure another 300 - 500 will come on the gates. Our away support is as ever, brilliant.
